Yeah, Wiltfong posted that Coach Martin told Sykes that he'd like to get him on campus before they move the process along any further.

Film is almost a clone of Kendall Moore's from high school. Itll be interesting to see how he develops wherever he ends up. Adding weight hurt Kendall, but weight was needed. This kid has the same movements, and same build as Moore. Good prospect though

Liked that tape. He's not the scariest athlete we've ever recruited, but I like his instincts for getting through traffic and getting to the ballcarrier early. A lot of people on this board have been saying that we need to recruit more ILBs who have relevant experience rather than just fit the athletic profile ... well, this guy has shown he can do a lot of things you want your ILB to do.

Problem for Kendall IMO was that his body cant seem to handle the extra weight. Have never heard of him having bad work ethic or anything? is this widely known?

Sadly I agree. When he was coming in, I thought he was going to be better than Shembo based off tape and what I read. Then Shembo went nuts with his workouts, incorporating Judo and turning himself into a chiseled freak while Moore just seemed to get bigger.

That's based entirely off appearances though.

I've heard of him being in coaches doghouse before...Not necessarily a work ethic problem I've heard. I guess I just always assumed it was because he came in at a listed 6-1 or 6-2 230 from his recruiting profile and has only shrunk and gotten flabby. I guess I just feel like he never reached his potential because we've all seen flashes of what he can do.

I had visions of Shembo and Kendall teaming up as ILB's, its very surprizing Prince has become a NFL level OLB and Kendall's career has never really taken off. Thats recruiting I guess.

I think he is the second kid lifting. This was 10 months ago, so I’m assuming he has gotten a lot stronger. Montini Football has an outstanding strength and conditioning program, and have sent a few kids to big time colleges in recent years.
