I'd take him at RB but would prefer him LB if that makes sense. Big time athlete for that size. Him playing ILB at 240 would be my ideal.

I like his potential at ILB too but I don't think he is very open to not playing RB. Not sure who the main competition is besides Oregon if they offer, I'm guessing Nebraska, MSU and Boise State. Don't think Michigan is still hard after him.

Yeah if he gets much bigger he would be a prototypical sized MLB. He is a monster athlete. Very fluid, and oh so fast. I think his experience at RB makes his a lock with the mental edge on defense.

Truth. Looks like he could be good as a 4-3 MLB, and even though 3-4 ILB's are supposed to be bigger it would be nice to have some speed in the middle for once.

I really like him at running back or linebacker. Kid is an athlete no matter what way you look at it. He is raw but i like his speed and cutting ability for his size

I really like this kid as a take as a athlete. I'd want another RB besides him though because I think most likely he grows out of it.

Loy reporting that Alford did go out to see Ballage play while he was in Colorado last week, but he (Loy) is hearing that ND likely won't offer him unless we have an extra spot close to signing day.

I'd really like to see him get an offer as an athlete. He may not want to play defense but why not offer and see what happens. I think he could make a killer LB.
