The problem in q1 was our pace. We looked good running the ball but the pace was hurting us.

Q2 we stopped with the bs and just started running the play.

Nice mix of run/pass with up tempo is what I want to see q3.

D just has to keep holding on. It isn't pretty but our scheme is not helping our safeties.

And please oh please can we get a pass rush and a turnover!

Honestly, the officials have gifted ASU 10 pts. I feel pretty good about that half - if it were 14-3 I'd be smiling. That being said, this team is not fun to watch at all. I'm going through the bourbon stash at record pace.

If we start mixing in the run with it I like it. The less creative the d can get and it means less tommy manning. As long as we keep moving the ball with it to give asu at minimum long fields I see no reason to slow back down.

Pleasantly surprised with the score. We should have scored in the first two drives. Tommy is still missing too many throws. Watch for ASU to go to the short over the middle passing game. 3rd quarter will decide the game.



Oh and Jaylon is going to be so good.

Jaylon is as good as advertised. Hits like a linebacker, covers like a corner, runs like a safety. I won't say he'll be better than Manti, but I think he may be more impactfull during his career (more of an impact position).

They blew a pass interference call for both teams, and the delay of game wasn't especially heinous. They need to see the clock hit zero and THEN look to see if the ball has been snapped. The benefit of the doubt always goes to the offense.
