I want JuJu at safety. The idea of Him and Redfield playing back there together...deer god.

Skipped a planned visit to USC this weekend because "I just feel like USC is letting me down on how they are doing. Hopefully they can bounce back."

Clearly, he wants to go to USC and is a USC fan (like his whole family)... but if they keep tanking, who knows. Very well might head somewhere else.

sounds like beating them down in a few weeks would go a long way....idk if we have the team that can beat anyone down however

I'm worried about USC. I think their D is too good and their O will find itself before we play them. Would be nice if they pick up a couple injuries before we play them because the falloff from starter to the next guy is HUGE.

When is the last time we won at home against SC? 2005 I guess hehe.

Would be nice to beat them at home. It's been a while.

Winning is very important when it comes to JuJu's recruiting. Not necessarily that one game but overall he continues to say that a team that is winning or moving in the right direction is important to him.

I honestly think he is a silent to USC. Kid is a Trojan at heart an usually kids follow there heart in the recruiting process. He just loves USC and will go there regardless IMO.

You're way off here GB. He is no way a silent to USC. He is not committing to Lane Kiffin at this point...not even close really.

His parents are big fans of USC, but he's giving a bunch of schools an honest look, because he saw last year how bad things were. This year is even worse. The only thing that will save them (as far as a recruit like Juju is concerned) is a home-run, wow-factor hire if/when they fire Lame. So many recruits were there for their home opener and saw how awful the atmosphere around the program was, and if they weren't there, they heard about it.

I wouldn't even worry about USC and Juju at this point. When they fire Lame, then I'll be paying attention to Juju and his recruitment...

What an athlete. Man I'd love to steal him. All the more reason to want to crush SC next month.

Those were some nice offensive highlights, but I still see him as a safety. He just moves with a certain violence that you like to see in a defensive player. No doubt he could be a hell of a WR too though.

-Five-star athlete John ‘JuJu’ Smith of Long Beach (Calif.) Poly took his first official visit, to Ohio State, this past weekend. He’ll head to Notre Dame and Alabama in October and then go to Alabama and Michigan in November. Smith, who prefers playing wide receiver, could make his decision in early January at an All-American game. Smith told 247Sports that he will base his decision on most of all the Christian life on campus as well as academics and the program’s tradition. Notre Dame, along with Alabama, are the front-runners going into the official visits according to sources.

I will seriously poop my pants if we SIGN this kid in February. I know he's a "must take" but I wonder how he could shake up our WR recruiting if we blow him away against USC.

Gotta like the sound of that if you're us. Not a done deal or anything, but puts us in good position

As much as you say that i see this being a redfield situation. He could fall in love with Notre Dame

They should make the crystal ball feature where the ball for an analyst starts out ~80% clear, and gets clearer/murkier based on the accuracy of their predictions. Loy's might look like a clump of mud in a year or two.

Ordinarily I might agree with you but USC is such a mess right now I can easily see him choosing another option for college.

There is a lot of time left until February.

USC is going to need a helluva lot more time than that. Recruiting restrictions are hurting them and that doesn't end for another year. More pain ahead for them until things get better.

Hasn't he said before that he would probably wind up in the Midwest somewhere? SC is also a dumpster fire right now.

If what he says is true, then we should be in the lead by default. I like our chances.
