Devin Gardner just looks horrible. Making me realize he just got incredibly lucky or bailed out by Gallon on a bunch of those throws into coverage.

Are they doing anything to contain his running? 2 runs for -1 yard, but an 11 yard long. I assume he ran for one and has a long sack.

So if Diaco leaves I'm thinking we get the DC from Akron pronto. Lol. Army is giving Stanford a game as well. College football, gotta love it.

To me it seems like a lack of preparation and/or motivation for big schools against nobodys. If they don't blow them out early it seems like it take a fire to be lit at halftime or adjustments in the 2nd half.

Id expect Michigan to drop 28 in the 2nd half.

Is this even the same quarterback wearing 98? He looks awful today. He already has thrown 2 picks and is all over the place.

Our D completely fell apart last week and after seeing Akron play them better so far, I'm truly beside myself. I had much higher expectations for the unit as a whole but also each individual. With that said time to dominate the boilermakers in a truly convincing fashion. Go Irish!

I think someone that's already on the staff will be given that job

Yeah, how bad are our ILBs? I mean seriously... just how bad are they?

They do. I was so frustrated watching their oline last week grab and hold every play.

So, in the (still unlikely) even UM loses to Akron, and the less unlikely event that Fordham holds their lead over Temple, ND's first three opponents look like this:

Temple:
Loss to Houston
Loss to Fordham

Michigan:
Win over Central Michigan
Loss to Akron

Purdue:
Loss to Cincinnati
Win over Indiana State

Even if ND beats Purdue today, what's their CPU ranking in this scenario?

Relax, lets see how WE play over the next few weeks before we throw in the towel... Different teams, different match ups, different games...

The picks aren't unusual. He's actually never had a pick free game. But the lack of running until the last bit is odd.

Akron's performance (or scUM's lack thereof) just confirms our suspicion that ND is absolutely without a shred of doubt snake bitten against scUM, and the football gods absolutely hate us in that matchup every year. I dare you to come up with a more reasonable explanation, because I can't find one...

We certainly got our share of the breaks last year (i.e., caused a few turnovers, but were the recipient of several Denard head scratching throws). At home...at night...huge crowd....
