You wouldnt lock in on the point spread bet, but the moneyline odds you lock in at what you bet it at if I were to change it.

I dont think the spread will move too far, but the over/under might since some sites/books dont even have it posted yet. 9 times out of 10 i never change any of it once it is posted; sometimes, I get mischievous, though.

I think we either win or lose by 7+. I hope we held back on both offense and defense against Temple. If not, Michigan will beat us in that environment. Hope I'm wrong.

Michigan isn't very good. That is my opinion, but I guess it is hard to substantiate because they never play anyone. Still, ND rolls in this game, saying goodbye to the McMansion in style.

Looking at the opening lines a few weeks before the season, I thought this line was even. Crazy what an opening weekend with one team blowing out another team and a separate team not doing the same will do to people.

In other news, Indiana line went from -4 to -10 against Navy. Navy outright! Haha.

The line is spiking all the way up to ND +6. Something is VERY fishy.

Everyone saw the NCG. We could go 12-0 this year and people won't believe until we beat a SEC team or start whipping teams like Michigan, Oklahoma, Stanford, etc.

But the pre-Temple line was even. Then it jumped to +3 then +3.5 then +4.5 and now +6. I have never seen a fll TD worth of movement on a line unless someone "knows" something... and this is especially weird with reports coming out now that Funchess and Washington are out.

Be on the lookout for bogus calls, I guess. Or maybe there are some ND injuries we don't know about.

Funchess is out???

It's not uncommon for lines to move from +3 (opening of the week) to +6 right before kickoff. That's just a case of reacting to where the money is being put.

I'm not discounting people in Vegas "knowing" something, but it just seems like people believe in Michigan (hence my original comment about people not believing in ND).

Very possible. Funchess rumors unconfirmed and may be untrue. Just something floating around out there.

I don't have vast knowledge of how lines work. I know what they are and that they are adjusted if one side is bet heavy compared to the other. But, most of the people I've seen are picking us to win. And if they pick U of M its by a minimal number. 6 pts seems odd?

Unfortunately as an ND fan, and with our recent history, I'm preparing for anything.
