I thought he was ours?
Maybe I'm just being an arrogant Irish homer, but I think ND could take him from Minnesota if they wanted.

Couple guys they would try first before they offer Jones. Don't think we are even in contact w/ him
Who? Mixon (who just cut us)...
Why oh why did Starks have to get expelled.

Any idea why this guy doesn't have more/better offers? (like from us). 247 Composite has him as a top 10 RB, but his offer list is mostly second-tier programs. I guess he's not particularly big or fast.

Your right, outside of a few schools formerly known as the Big Ten(and Iowa State), programs have not shown much interest. Premature verbal to Minnesota. I think there is mutual interest here, and that a visit will be scheduled. Invited to the Opening, and both Rivals and Scout list Jones in their top 100. Jeff Jones is one of the better running backs in the class of 2014.Any idea why this guy doesn't have more/better offers? Last night rushed for 152 yards with 4 tds, caught 1 td pass, returned a kickoff for an 85 yard td and had 95 receiving yards. 6 touch downs overall.
Anybody know if he ever talks to Cornell? They are both in the twin cities after all. I like this kid either way, but if going after him would help secure Cornell (not saying that it remotely does in any way), then the better.
Has been getting great reviews and Florida has now reached out and asked him to visit along with MSU offering. Could have had him if we wanted him I believe.

Never understood the hype. I remember he camped and staff passed. Good luck to him though.
Do you understand it now? lol
I'll say it... we need to offer this kid. We lose Hood and probably aren't getting McKenzie (not saying he would be a RB, but he could have been) so we will have room for another offensive skill player.
He goes to a Notre Dame pipeline school alongside Cornell, who is a must get for this class. He has shown that he can be an impact player in his own right, throw an offer at him BK!
doesn't go to CDH
