I don't know, call me crazy, but I think that there is a big difference in level of play between Tommy and Hendrix. Playing QB isn't just physical, the mental part is what kills them. I think the decision making, defence reading and leadership are all heavily weighted to Tommy. If Tommy goes out, we are going to have an unsure, tentative, mistake-prone guy come in. Regardless of whether that is Hendrix or anybody else.
I would have never imagined myself saying this, but.... Tommy is the only QB I trust on our roster.
Same here. Tommy getting hurt is my sum of all fears.
I think people put waaaaay too much faith into what Hendrix did against Stanford three years ago. It was his first legitimate action, nobody had film on him and Stanford had not remotely prepared for a scrambling QB, and he suddenly came in running a completely different style of offense (scrambling everywhere) with a different pace. Not to mention they were beating the crap out of us at the time and had taken their foot off the gas.

I was just joking, but maybe next time I'll add the sarcasm font. Thanks for the neg though.
