I feel he accepted it way to easy this time. Like they said hey this is what we have and then they agreed on this for punishment. Now ARod may simply be still bargaining.

mlb let him off hook imo but i think wanted to send Shockwaves about having damning evidence.

i don't see them letting arod bargain for some reason

I believed him when this first came out based on what he came out and said, because, in my mind you can't in healthy conscious make the statements he's came and said if it weren't the truth. And turns out he's just an a**hole the way the chips have fallen now.

He better get some thick skin, cause he's gonna be a villain in every mlb ball park for the rest of his career, which interestingly enough, has alot of years left. Which i believe is a first, a star of his magnitude suspended for PEDs that will return in the prime of his career. I know myself as well as the entire city of Philadelphia will be ready to get all over him.. First few rows in Left field, tickets just sky rocketed for 2014..

Also, can't wait for the roof to come down on Arods head, on the fence tho, hope he doesn't get a lifetime ban so the yanks are stuck with that contract, then again i would love to see the biggest douche in baseball to never hold a position in the game for the rest of his fraudulent existence.

What makes my skin crawl, the 100 million that Braun and possibly Arod are still guaranteed,

MLB and MLPA should explore a clause to contracts in regards to drug related suspensions.. I know that'll actually never happen, but it would "clean up the game" once and for all.

Von miller is pumped though!

Aaron Rodgers told a follower awhile back that he would bet his entire salary that Braun was clean. Rodgers makes $40 MILLION this season. Soooo about that Aaron?

The big theory is that Aroids has to be able to prove that he can no longer play baseball (basically "realizing just now that his injuries are career ending). Somehow he has to prove this before the MLB drops the hammer and thus he will be able to insure the remaining $100 mil of his contract. Reportedly about a week or so ago, he met with the MLB and they told him that they have a strong case against him and he might be next.

He gave an Academy Awards performance of not being able to play last post season.

Arod's next.

Sorry if already posted, but my guess is ARod's recent "quad strain" had to do w posturing prior to his suspension being announced. Yanks are probably on notice that the hammer was about to be dropped and they decided it best to extend the "rehab" for a couple of days so they don't have to deal with the immediate sh*t storm that would follow. It'll be bad enough w him getting suspended, they didn't need him to come back for a game or 2 only to have it happen. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

I believe his base is only something like 4.5 mil

I think an appeal by him only drags it out and makes it look worse for him and baseball. I think they'll let him bargain. Not a lot. But some.

Wish they'd take away the MVP that he stole from deserving players...

it should have went to matt kemp that year

Braun last February: "I would bet my life that this substance never entered my body at any point."

Maybe he should pay up on the bet now. Arrogant jerk-off...

geez, look at this guys statements, and his mannerisms, just the way this dude carries himself while walking up to reporters (especially during his 'i told you so ' PC after getting off on a technicality). This ahole drips and oozes arrogance in his statements and his actions. its one thing to be a fraud and a lie, but then he piled on and went after the sample collector, and stated he has gone thru all this with honor, integrity, etc....what a complete fraud and a liar.

his latest statement says he is glad this is over because (among other things) what this has put his family thru. This dude was the cause of all this, and he put his family in that situation....total d-bag.

i cant see this being prevented until MLB makes some drastic moves; i would like to see something along the lines of, on the 2nd offense all stats voided and the player is not eligible for the HOF. 3rd offense, lifetime ban and contract voided.

there is not enough of a deterrent to prevent ppl from juicing. If I juice and get a giant contract, then get popped for PED's and have to serve 100 or even a 150 games suspension, i think i'd do that for 100million

Good they need to make a huge stance.

Good. It's about time. IMO, the first time caught cheating should be a full season or maybe even two season ban. Repeat offenders, banned for life. Simple as that. MLB needs to set a precedent that shows cheating will not be tolerated anymore.

I personally don't care which names are on "the list" and how much money it could cost the MLB if some of which are all-star money-makers for their franchise. They need to be punished. The MLB is a joke and they need to turn this situation around and get control of it.

Aaron Rodgers posted these tweets last year...

MLB and cable sports tried to sully the reputation of an innocent man. Picked the wrong guy to mess with. Truth will set u free #exonerated
— Aaron Rodgers (@AaronRodgers12) February 23, 2012

When its guilty until proven innocent, all u need are the facts. #howsthecrowmlb #exonerated

I'll let my buddy take it from here. All u idiots talking about technicality open up for some crow too. See if Espn gets pressured not to..
— Aaron Rodgers (@AaronRodgers12) February 23, 2012

@toddsutton ya I'd put my salary next year on it. #ponyup #exonerated
— Aaron Rodgers (@AaronRodgers12) February 23, 2012

The dude he bet his salary to, in the last tweet, said he would settle for a single game paycheck from Rodgers. Which would cost Rodgers $281,250.

I guess that's all they can do. Not really that big of a punishment for A-Rod when you look at it.

The Yankees have to be hoping that MLB can pull this off. They definitely don't want to pay A-Rod a penny more.

Alex Rodriguez's reps think New York Yankees, MLB conspiring against slugger - ESPN New York

According to Article XIII, paragraph D of the CBA, "a Player shall inform the Club in writing" before seeking a second medical opinion. A Yankees source said Rodriguez did not inform the team before consulting with Dr. Gross, although it was unclear what recourse, if any, the team would have other than to force Rodriguez to bear any costs incurred in obtaining the second opinion.

Despite the possible violation, a source said Yankees team physician Chris Ahmad, who diagnosed Rodriguez with a Grade 1 quad strain after Rodriguez underwent an MRI at New York Presbyterian Hospital Sunday, would seek to confer with Dr. Gross over the discrepancy in the two diagnoses.

I think his base is $4.5 mil. It would be nice to see him take at least one game check and donate it to charity in that guys name.

Wouldn't it be more likely to be a team from Florida?

Or maybe just the athlete which doesn't help narrow the list of schools. I also forgot NBA in my list above. I knew LeBron was juiced, but why no share with DWade.
