'13 OH QB Malik Zaire (Notre Dame Early Enrollee)

What a luxury this will be for the team though! After BK's first 2+ years it will be nice to see some "depth" at the QB position. I am confident that the younger guys understand this (and are made aware of it by the coaches during recruiting) and know that they will need to compete. That competitive attitude is a valuable asset to a successful QB too, and is probably something the coaches seek during recruiting.

So who transfers? Next year, we will have Rees, Hendrix, Golson, Keil, and Zaire...

I agree the competition will be awesome, but in the back of my head, I can see this going the way of those two QBs during Weis's tenure..... I cant believe Rees or Hendrix will stick around if Golson gets the nod.

Why would guys that are within a year of graduating with a ND degree ($$$) and no prospects for the NFL, leave to go play at Southwest Directional State for a year and get a useless degree? They could have gone to Michigan.

After they have their ND degree if they have eligiblity, perhaps, as others have done.

Beat me to it BGIF.

Tommy is smart enough to realize he would only be able to transfer to start at a MAC school and Andrew is pre-med and understands the value of an ND education. Neither are going anywhere.

Hendrix will transfer if he doesn't play this year I believe.

I can't imagine he wouldn't see the field at all. Even if Golson does really well, having Hendrix is like having Tebow on our team, we will always find ways to use him. Our version of the wildcat (Which I think we call the leprechaun) will play perfectly into Henrix's hands. It will be a perfect change of pace for our offense, and cause difficulties for the defense to make adjustments.

I would think so too with Tommy, but Hendrix, I am also unsure of.

Hendrix will transfer if he doesn't play this year I believe.

If he did, I would understand why he's struggled with the mental aspects of the game.

If he wants to go to med school he needs to transfer now into a school academically suitable for his aspirations.

Unlike Masoli, he's not going for a degree in Parks and Recreation Management.

Competition for med school is tough with no transfers on your record. Transfering from a prestigious school to Podunk U for your senior year so you could throw a football 300 times while wasting a year of academic preparation doesn't bolster a med school application.

He would do better to try and transfer into an Ivy League School where scholarships are offered academically not athletically. He'd still get a quality pre-med education. But again I suspect he have to do it immediately unless the Ivies take Senior Tranfers. Most quality schools want you for more than just 9 months if they're going to confer the degree.

Tommy will never transfer when he's that close and Hendrix is a pre-med student that loves ND. Really see him leaving for one year of football when he's not even guaranteed to start and will have almost zero chance at the NFL?

Elite 11 on ESPNU right now. (4-5 CT)

Watching Malik play just makes me happy. He has the composure of a great QB. He looks the part.

Seriously... I loved Trent for making Shane wait until the last person to go. I seriously can not stand that kid. He sounds like a punk and acts like a punk. I can't wait for Tuitt to knock him on his *** in a few years, hoping he stays long enough to match up against him.

That whole show jumped the shark when they put Trent Dilfer in charge. He's the biggest dope in the industry.

i would hate be a college coach recruiting Qb's. Can you imagine the amount of douchebag kids you would have to pander to? Bar Zaire who from other interviews ive seen appears to be a great guy, The kid going to Purdue was the only one with any humility.
Max Browne wtf?? Who raises a kid like that...

The kids going to Tenn and Miami looked alright too. Kinda like the kid from Maryland too... all on a personality basis. Oh yeah... once again, Tyrone Swoopes is terrible.

I haven't seen any of his interviews. What makes him so douchey? Other than the USC commitment of course.

Wow,not bad at all! Going to be an interesting QB race the next few years, nothing but good things to come at the QB position.
