A guy with your avatar saying someone is off his rocker has as much credibility as Beck saying he's gonna drop a bomb tomorrow...

just sayin.

Top 10 outrageous Glenn Beck quotes:

Glenn Beck Quotes - Top 10 Craziest Glenn Beck Quotes of All Time

My fav didn't make the list. When he was putting together a political gathering Washington several years back -- I forget what it was called -- he said that it was going to be "the most important event in American history" or something to that affect. Glenn Beck is a shameless, self-promoting windbag bordering on insanity.

I have no idea why I feel the need to post this here, but here is a video of Alex Jones (also of the tin foil hat type)... turning Super Saiyan!

Most of these quotes are severely taken out of context.

I absolutely can't stand listening to him because he regularly makes outrageous statements. When I found that site, I didn't question it at all because these quotes seemed on par with the type of things he said virtually every time I've ever seen him on TV.

my very responsible addition to this thread begins and ends with glenn beck sucking donkey balls. and anyone that disagrees can go kick rocks.

I'm afraid I'll have to find some rocks to kick because I don't want to watch anyone suck donkey balls.

Went back and re-read the quotes. I find it hard to believe that if these are the words that actually came out of his mouth, that they could have been taken out of context.

Bordering? The man had a person dressed up as Mao sitting at a desk up above his set on his Fox show.... Dude is a lunatic. :)

There is absolutely no way in the world Glen Beck can be taken out of context.

Pretty sure the end game for Beck is to develop a crazy loyal follower base where he can then chain email Nigerian prince them all for millions of dollars. Something like:

"Followers! The end is upon us! Tomorrow the Government will roll out the dreaded Obama-nazi-socialist-bots that will destroy humanity! But don't worry... if we can raise enough money I will will engineer an Arnold Schwarzenger to fight back! Text CRAZY to 90909 to pledge $10 to stopping the robot apocalypse!"

As an aside... wouldn't it be hilarious if an actual legitimate whistleblower came on Beck and dropped a bombshell? Like something legitimately insane like "here is hard cold evidence that the Government rigged the last election." People would probably dismiss it as crazy talk... ergo completely defeating the purpose of blowing the whistle. Glenn Beck is probably the worst possible show to go on to get someone to take you seriously.

I am conservative and I think he is a goofball. Clearly he is just all about entertainment, shock value, and trying to boost his ratings as opposed to presenting any consistently serious dialogue or information. He is the political talk show version of Rick Reily or that Doyle guy IMO.

What could he possibly bring foward that tops what is already out there? If the last month proved anything, it's that Americans don't give a crap about scandals if they involve their own guy.

Beck is the right's Olberman -- not to be taken seriously. The difference between is, that I think Olberman works at a Burger King or something now and Beck still has a contingent of mindless lemmings who still hang on his every idiotic word.

Oh the days when Olbermann freaking ran ESPN... I mean seriously, he was instrumental in everything that built SportsCenter into what it is today.

Last I heard he's back into the sports arena and will be doing some baseball show. Only reason he got ousted from the political arena was for donating to reps (including one who he had on his show) which is apparently a no-no in the world of journalism "neutrality".

as if anyone could have mistaken him for neutral ... or a journalist. :) one of the funniest things I've seen on Saturday Night Live in the past decade is when Ben Affleck did an impersonation of Olbermann when he still had the MSNBC show. He was a cartoon ... just like Rush, Beck, O'Reilly and most of the Fox "News" network.

False. I am pretty sure there is outrage from both sides of the isle LOL. And many people are outraged AT both sides of the aisle as each of the "scandals" were initiated by republicans and democrats and doubled down on by democrats and republicans.

If you are choosing sides at this point, I don't think you truly realize what is going on.

Anyway Beck is a turd and should be flushed.

...I see nothing wrong with #2, except that it ponders payment two orders of magnitude too high....

ok, ok I've always been more about bankhanded slapping people like Moore...while their Beatch drivel is still flowing forth...just crack 'em...it says STFU, and invokes general mockery in one efficient movement.

Edit: Apparently Beck gets a backhand by association...
Glenn Beck, Michael Moore call Edward Snowden a hero - Hadas Gold - POLITICO.com

Ah, but on to Beck Bashing... Is he crazy...sure. Does he **** off the left...oh hell yea. Does he make oodles of money...mmmhmmm...does he do more serious work beyond the crazy right wing / libertarian schtick...not sure, but guessing yes. Some folks are crazy like a fox (no pun).
