Honestly surprised he doesn't have an offer already. Clearly a top tier prospect for 2015. How many CBs are we taking in the '14 class? I thought just 1 but with West + Watkins in play maybe we're taking two which would really fill us up at that position.

haha i just took a quick glance at his picture and there is a shadow next to the corner of his mouth and and at a glance i thought he had a big ol herp.

Top 2015 CB Wants To Hear From ND

Next up for Fitzpatrick are visits to South Carolina and Clemson.

He hasn’t had much contact with Notre Dame to this point, but hopes that changes.

“I really haven’t talked to them at all,” he said. “I don’t think they sent anybody in during the eval period. They did send me a questionnaire, but that’s about it.

“It’s a great school; great academics and great athletics. If they offered, it would be great.”

Fitzpatrick has a connection to Vanderbilt through former St. Peter’s Prep teammate Tre Bell, who will be a freshman with the Commodores this season. Bell was considered a Notre Dame lean after a trip to South Bend last March, but committed to Florida before flipping to Vanderbilt.

Fitzpatrick spoke with Bell after his visit to Notre Dame.

“After he came back from his visit, I asked him how it was,” Fitzpatrick said of Bell. “He said it was really nice, it was fun. He said it was in the middle of nowhere though. That’s the only complaint he had.”

They are fine for 2015. They were putting work in last fall and winter in 2015. Lack of offers doesnt mean they arent recruiting.

We should be a player here. Told Wiltfong "Great football, school, traditions, definitely going to visit probably right after the season, trying to finish strong. Expecting to visit OSU and ND in October/November time frame. Loy is saying that South Carolina currently leads.
