Yeah, credibility problem when you say Golson will be a true sophomore and was one bad play away from being replaced by Tommy "Reece". Apparently Myrtle Beach has been moved to California too. I stopped reading there.
We are still months away from the start of the college football season & I’m already pumped for it. This year should prove to be even more exciting than last year & without a doubt we have a cast of elite college football quarterbacks that should make this year explosive. I wanted to profile some of those quarterbacks & other skill players that I believe will excel in 2013. I started with Stephen Morris, quarterback from Miami, then Louis Nix, nose tackle from Notre Dame, now I continue with who I believe is the best sophomore quarterback in college football, Everett Golson.
Everett Golson is a 6’1 true sophomore out of Myrtle Beach California, Golson was a kid I kept my eye on last year & I watched him mature as the season progressed. During his freshman year Golson faced constant adversity knowing one bad decision could land him in the bench in favor of backup quarterback Tommy Reece. This adversity in my opinion helped Golson to mature quickly during the season & allowed him to take control of the quarterback position for the Irish. After being pulled in the Michigan game, where he went 3 for 8 with 2 early turnovers, it seemed like the light went off in Golson’s head.
That kind of light going off sounds painful! I mean was it dark in there? Of course, that is not nearly as painful as this clichéd writer taking his eye out of the socket and placing it on top of Everett Golson; (that is how he mysteriously got to 6'1" tall.) No one edited this, the comma was missing before California, after Myrtle Beach, even though it should have been South Carolina.
