Yeah the only way he doesn't go to Stanford is if he doesn't qualify which could be a possibility. ND is actually a lot more forgiving than Stanford and that is saying something.

I think he could end up not in the West if not at Stanford, he recently did a article with 247 about interest in the SEC.

Same article was naming notable alums from Punahou and Manti wasn't mentioned :/

The first article I read / video I watched of this kid he said he wanted to go to a place that reminded him of Hawaii. Nice scenery, palm trees, etc. I don't doubt he has interest in the SEC now, but in the end, I just don't see him leaving the West coast. We'll see. LONG way to go in this one.

Barton Simmons said just today that pretty much the only way Kaumatule and Rosen don't end up at Stanford is academics. So Stanford's gonna get two the #1 DE & #1 QB next year.

Ahhh that sucks. Kaumatule would be so frickin great for us. But what can you do. When it comes to academics, Stanford is Stanford.

I think that all we can hope for is a visit and a chance to wow him. Otherwise, it is going to be Stanford. The kid already knows what he has to do with his brother there and all. I'm sure he will qualify...
Seems like a great kid. Hope he makes the Notre Dame visit and falls in love.
