Relax. It got moved with a bunch of stuff from this thread to the mother of all threads, the repository of all untoward posts. Some of us rememver Bret, everyone should pay attention to a performance like this. I remember it like it was yesterday!

Thanks man! He was like a more mobile Tommy Rees! BTW totally Relevant to the discussion in that I think he has a year of eligibility left and that is why Lazard committed. Who wouldn't want the chance to play with a cool hand gunslinger like Bret Oberg?

John Sears from a Des Moines news network:

Talked to Allen Lazard today, #1 WR recruit in the country. Says he's fully committed to Iowa St. Visiting ND for the experience.

meh.

Did this quote come from the DG thread?? Sounds like the exact same thing to me. I believe he is looking for a reason to not go to ISU

Penitentials and rules abound on this board, and the moderators have a penchant for purging(douche bags). A man without an ammchara is a body without a head, ain't it so bogtrotter. Where is this repository of deleted posts? And must we do penance to get there? By the way, Kyle Allen qb, like Lazard, intends to visit Notre Dame after attending the Rivals Challenge. That event, staged at Soldier Field, may bring a few more visitors on June 10th, 11th.

He did earn invites to The Opening and Rivals Challenge but he was the #1 WR before that and in yesterday's Rivals update after all the camps, he kept the same rating and actually dropped from #24 to #25.

He's been committed to ISU for a while, explains some of why his offer list isn't great.

His drop wasn't due to him not deserving it, it's due to the high number of really good RBs in this class. A few kids (Mixon) got big bumps, while others dropped. I think it's a good think he stayed where he was (there isn't a difference between 24 and 25). There isn't a huge pool of elite talent at WR this year.

Alford was out to see him last week and ND has made a good impression on him, Wiltfong called him a ND type kid.

I want this kid to commit to ND for all the obvious reasons, but also partly because I want to witness an epic meltdown on that Hawkeyes site. Guilty.

Can't happen twice in 2 years.

DGB to Missouri
Lazard to Iowa State ... not happening

ND is making heavy inroads here. Others will follow

Said there is a 97% chance he stays committed to ISU. To me, that means hes not solid and should have said 100%. ND and Stanford are biggest threats. Hes gonna take his OVs

Really don't see him flipping. Just my humble opinion. I think a lot will come down to how receptive his parents are to him playing somewhere else.

It seems like it will be a tough pull that's for sure. One of these days we are gonna get a stud out of Iowa dammit.

Apparently the staff hit a homerun on the visit. He says that ND is currently at the top with ISU, but that as of now he is going to ISU. He says he would love to go to ND, but is sticking with ISU...for now. Definitely a positive update. I have a feeling he will be Irish.
