What a leader. He's been an outstanding ND player and mentor to all the younger players on the D Line and the rest of the defense. I can only hope to have the same confidence and outlook when faced with such a negative situation. Best of luck to him; he's been a terrific representative of Notre Dame.

I have been a huge Kap fan since he committed. Guy was part of that special 08 class that signed despite ND's horrible on field performance. He was a leader and a beast in the trenches. Selfish;y wishing him a speedy recovery so I can keep rooting for him on Sundays.

"Lewis-Moore was projected as a late-round pick but will likely become a priority free agent, because he’ll miss all of the pre-draft workouts and may not be 100 percent before the middle of summer.

“It’s a shame to see a guy get hurt like that in the last game of his career,” Wright said. “But it could work out for him. I’d rather be a priority free agent than a seventh-round pick, because I can pick my situation. I can look at the depth charts and say, ‘Well, there’s more of an opportunity here,’ than be a team’s last pick and you go in there and you’re training camp fodder and you’re basically facing uphill battles.”

Indeed good luck. Terrible feeling (in the midst of a terrible game of course) when I saw him laying on the turf. He seems like a great guy. Hope the best for him.

Before the injury I had been hearing he was 3rd rounder...just saying

who was saying that i never saw that...i saw UFA or 6-7 round even before but those draftniks are all over the place really. wish him all the best maybe better to be UFA than drafted late--he could pick his situation.

That is the area he is projected to go. If he hadn't gotten injured he was looking at getting drafted around rounds 3-4.

Honestly for me watching Kap go down in the NCG was worse than loosing the game. Almost as bad as when Jonas Gray went down, which nearly put me in tears.

Glad he got picked up by the Ravens. By the time he gets health they will have gotten a steal.
