This really has little to do with Fournette but picture of Fournette (Right) and...

Dylan Moses, 2017 prospect with LSU and Bama offers. Amazing he gives up almost no size to the #1 prospect for 2014

that is an understatement. On defense, he decleated a guy coming to block him and tackled a guy when he was on offense carrying the ball.

Getting Fournette out of La will be tough... even for Saban.

Rock Thomas could be swayed to leave Bama but I don't think he will. He may be Saban's backup plan for Fournette.

On a side note, Bo Scarborough has changed positions from RB to WR per Saban's request. This may be Saban's pitch to Fournette coming to Bama. I don't know if that will sell Fournette but I think that is Saban's approach to him.

I've been told that Fournette is not the biggest fan of Les Miles so pulling him from LA is not an impossibility...and certainly not for Bama.

I have heard the same thing. The difference is the pressure these guys have to stay in state. If anyone can pull him it is Saban for sure.

Actually my ann arbor buddy sent me a quote from him that was a very good vibe for them:

prolly nothing more than a tease:

"What I'm looking for is academics first, he said. People-wise, I love great personalities. That's it. That's what I like about Michigan."

Asked if he has a visit planned to Ann Arbor.

"No not yet, he replied. I would like to take a visit up there. It would be during the fall for an official visit."

Barf. Not worried though. No way in hell this kid is going to Michigan.

he has a history of injury problems and can't stay on the field?

Haha I meant in terms of skillet. Almost exact same size, powerful north-south runners, very good but not elite speed. Fournette is probly the best RB prospect since Wells, but IMO the Adrian Peterson comparisons are way overblown. Fournette seems to lack the violent explosion that characterizes AD. Darren McFadden with a little less raw speed is another decent comparison.

Fournette wasn't compared to Peterson, well some fans may have but by the recruiting guru's and most people in the know haven't compared him to Peterson at all. What most respected football people have said is that Fournette is the best RB since Peterson.

In fact what many where saying at I believe was the Army AA combine this past winter was that he was more comparable to Hershel Walker then anybody else.

They said the same about Malcolm Brown (Texas).

Saban offered Royce Freeman from Ca this past weekend. I think he is starting to squeeze Fournette a little bit.

How many of last years "RBs" will Saban keep there? I heard Henry is an animal even though he's like 6'2"+.

I can't look this up at work very easily, but Bama had 3 last year and Scarborough this year. Plus Saban is apparently still looking for another.

Someone mentioned Saban convinced Sarborough to switch to WR. I wouldn't count on him going to UA until he signs though. Doesn't sound like he's 100%.

I met Henry last year. He was standing next to Derrick Green (scUM commit) and he dwarfed him. The word I would use to describe him is...imposing.

Saban will draft as many RBs as he wants. It's his world and everyone else is just livin' in it.

Saban likes to have five ready to go. Last year the Tide was down to three due to injuries. Henry is a beast but has been slowed a little due to breaking his leg in the spring. Bo Scarborough has been camping as a WR and will likely end up there for good. Even still, a RB like Fournette you just can't pass on no matter how many you have. Rock Thomas is another that I think Bama can get if they want him.

Yes, but (que Whiskeyjack's spiel about roster management)
