My cousin went to Southwest Taxidermy Tech of Northern Memphis. You may have heard of them, they play Alabama every year in football....

Go Ramblers! I'm a LUC law grad. And I lived in Siegfried Hall at ND ... so I'm a double Rambler, in a way (joke for the other ND alums).

P.S., you'll quickly get over being ashamed of your law school, whichever one it is. One of the most interesting things I learned in law school and my legal career is that knowing where someone went to school really doesn't tell you much at all about how smart they are in a professional context. In the top 10% or 20% of my law school class were many people with undergrad degrees from prestigious schools, it's true, but just as many went to schools I had literally never heard of. Similarly, once I started working at law firms, I worked with a number of students and young lawyers from top law schools along with a number from middle-of-the-pack and low-tier law schools, and I saw ... no difference. Truly. Students from top law schools were more likely to have a wider frame of reference, but they were not better at the nuts and bolts of litigation. So anyone who looks down on you for which law school you went to doesn't know very much about the practice of law, haha.

Ha, I may have totally misunderstood. In fact I'm sure I did ... nsideirish, I now recall discussing law schools with you a couple months ago, and I seem to remember you mentioning Michigan. Embarrassed to have forgotten.

Either way, nothing to be ashamed of. WakeUpEchoes is loud and proud.

Question for those of you that have graduated.

In college, did you do any internships that were related to your major/minor? I'm trying to set up an internship so I can get as much experience related to my major and minor as I can possibly get. I'm majoring in Business and minoring in Sports Management fyi

:(:(

That's it. Turning down my dream school (ND) was difficult but with the way the legal market is, it had to be done.

Oh well...I'll be wearing my green loud and proud September 7. And would love to tailgate and meet up with some members on this board.

I'm at ND Law now and it's great but I know UM would have been tough to turn down. Congrats on that though.

I know that I will be tailgating with some other law students for that game. We would be happy to let you join as long as you don't talk about Torts and Contracts :naughty:

Sounds good man. I will be having two ND grads ('11) staying with me that weekend as well. Can't wait. I'll probably hang a big ND flag from my balcony...but debating if I want to take the risk of eggs/rocks being thrown at my place.
