Classic Big Skill, played TE and DE and Iowa thinks he may be able to play OT

Visiting ND this spring, said staff gave him schedule and he just has to pick a date.

ND has serious interest and could be close to offering and if they did would be near the top of his list.

Plus he doesn't even have an offer at this point.

Anyways, we are really commenting on kids' attractiveness now? Who here considers themselves qualified to judge, anyways? If he does get an offer, I trust that he can play. If the coaches want him, I'm on board.

i think we can get elite O linemen and don't need to reach at this point, but dimensions are very similar to mcglinchey from last year so you never know

Nah, just his picture reminded me of Quinton Taratino, in the aspect that both their chins can hold grain for a whole winter.

I think this kid is underrated as a :s::s::s:

He plays with good pad level for a 6'8'' kid and I was shocked by how athletic he is. Don't think he is a DE at a high level D1 but I think this kid could end up as a beast TE.

Still don't know if I think we should offer because there are other TEs who are definitely more talented but I could see this kid tearing up at Stanford.

I was a fan of his athleticism on film, but I especially like that his coach raves about his blocking skills.

I have a feeling eithier Niklas deflated his weight or Nelson inflated his, no way they are the same weight.

Per Wiltfong the staff really likes his tape and it will come down to how he looks in person to decide if he gets an offer.

Sounds like Nelson and ND are going on a blind date

Good thing we aren't recruiting the ladies --- that would shoot down the self-confidence

Happens a lot actually, just want to make sure the personality and frame fit what we are looking for. Especially on borderline prospects.

oh I completely understand and agree with ya. Just sounds funny when you take the wording of that and apply it to another life scenario.

I think I saw this kid having lunch today at Legends. He was there with couple of coaches, I think another recruit (don't know who specifically) and his player host.

Hope he enjoys his visit.

If a kid is 6'8", I'm asking 3 questions:

- Is he athletic (can he move)?
- Can he carry TE or LT weight?
- Does he like football (is he tough)?

If I can check off those 3 boxes, I'd have a hard time not offering. 85 scholarship rosters have room for a few projects! If he played TE, just think about how hard it would be to cover him without interfering in GL situations.
