The good news for NBC is that they don't even have to notify Hammond of this decision...seeing as how he died about 17 years ago anyway.
He didn't die, he had a sex change.

Not going to say anything bad about Hammond. Just glad that Hicks is now the voice. A nice improvement.
In other news, where the hell has Jack Nolan been?
No I agree. I've always thought Hicks sounded like Jim Nantz not on valium. Nonetheless, it is surely an upgrade.
I'm sure he knows plenty about ND football. His wife is an alumni...

She has gotten prettier with age. She's no Anne Archer but still.
Yea, she is really hot!!!
Awful joke, but one I could not resist.
It's my love for older women, the teacher/student fantasy.
Thank God.
Also can we please never have to come back vs Pittsburgh ever again. Thanks.
Well, my subtle joke was based on her whole grill incident.
FANTASTIC NEWS!
the voice of the US Open (golf) (after Miller) is now the voice of ND. really like this selection.
(p.s. can a "videoboard" be far behind?)
agree on jim nantz comments above. did you know in his divorce he demanded to keep a self portrait painting of himself....the thing was hung over his fireplace in his home. was about 4 ft by 6ft. talk about an ego!
of course i could be jealous of the guy with the best gigs in sports (especially having ncaa tourney right into the masters--dang!)
Think this deserves its own thread. Will start at the B&G game.
