Question for you guys who have been on IE longer than me: is it possible to start a thread that contains updates on Freshman/EE numbers? I know most websites (even UND) don't update their rosters until the season starts, and it might be nice to have quick access to all of the uniform numbers in one place. (selfish reason as well: I update ND's roster on NCAA 13 to include freshmen that EA usually doesn't put in, and like to make everything as spot on as possible like ratings, equipment, and obviously uni numbers.)

Never started my own thread, and didn't know if there was a pre-existing protocall for something like this

I think someone usually starts up a "new numbers/roster" thread at some point. Go ahead and fire it up in the football forum.

I think Justin has been pretty quiet, but I'm not sure I would be surprised if he's turning heads somewhere down the line.

Man, we got a great WR class...and to think it could have been even better. Ridiculous.

I haven't really heard a lot about Ferguson. In camp it seems Brown and Neal have separated themselves, or shown they deserve playing time. Has justin not done that or have I just not heard about that? Is he struggling? Can we expect him to be on the field? He is a pretty big receiver if I remember correctly, I was excited for him when we signed him

He has made some plays in the videos for sure, but because he is more of a physical receiver, he will need more time to grow before he sees significant playing time.

I think it was said he could play, but not significant minutes. And yes... it is hard to keep everything straight at this break-neck pace we are currently going.

Haha-Was just thinking when I saw the bump-We did not hear anything about Davaris during his freshman year. He started to blossom last year and hopefully will grab the opportunity this year and run with it. Hoping the same will happen with Brown (who is the only one that displayed a flash his first year), Neal and Fergie.

I want instant gratification-which is ridiculous to expect from a player making the leap from HS to major NCAA. Especially with the WR position (much less any other position-haha).

Based on what? All of our starting WRs are back, we're only losing Goodman who barely played. And Daniels, Neal, and Chris Brown seem to be ahead of him. I don't expect him to see much time at all.

Goodman is gone yes. but, Neal plays a completely different position and will most likely start in Toma's spot.

I should have prefaced my comment that "decent amount" means a ton of special teams and on the two deep on the depth chart. He only needs to beat out one of the two in Smith and Brown.

He's not gonna start at the X, W or Z, but he's got a good shot to be our top possession receiver. Goodman did a lot of that for us last season, and he's gone now. Daniel Smith is his only real competition for that role, and he's struggled making plays.
