I'm glad we're exiting the series and Urban will be stepping in in perfect timing. You've had recent success, winning 3 in a row with Denard, but you/Michigan want no part of where ND is going with BK and how they're recruiting. OSU is IMO, recruiting better and their coaching is so much better. If I had to guess, I'd give you guys 1-3 in the next 4 years vs OSU, although I wouldn't be surprised to see 0-4 (ignoring championship game just because you never know who's going to be in it).

Absolutely. It's insane programs like ND, ohio, LSU, tennessee etc. haven't had any EA Cover athletes.

ohio had Eddie George on the NCAA Gamebreaker for the Playstation back in 1996 but that was made by another company and long has been forgotten by most.

2k needs to make a new college hoops. I loved and still played 2k8 until they shutdown the servers for it a couple of months ago. The modes on that game was awesome and the ability to have a nba2k type myplayer in a college atmosphere would be awesome.

Duff was a stud. Jabbie was stud for one day lol. I remember seeing his change of direction/acceleration in the B&G game and thinking he was going to take the CFB world by storm. Oh how young and dumb I was.

07 was the momentum meter. 04 was the most revolutionary of all of the games IMO. Introduction of online play and a good dynasty mode.

I know I have said it in other threads and this one before... they really need to copy NBA2K (which I don't play but have seen and wow) and the Show... how those two sports games are that far ahead and you have games like this and MLB 2k that are that far behind is sad...

I'm not buying it because it's a roster update. The fact that Denard is on there is just a personal bonus.

Last season was the first time I didn't buy the game at the beginning of the season, which is kinda funny since I knew ND was actually ranked pretty highly in the game from the start and we had a good season. I did end up buying the game on discount in February. I had been disappointed with the Super LBs a year ago, that was a big reason why I was going to pass on the game this year. So far they haven't been as bad, but theres definitely been a lot of bugs that don't look to be corrected even as of March and theres really no additional features to speak of. Anyway, I can't see myself dropping $60 again on this, I'll most likely wait till it goes bargain bin again or I won't purchase at all.

Kinda amusing that Erin Andrews is still doing sideline reporting in the game, heh.

Pretty crazy that Michigan has garnered the cover 4 times now, despite the fact the team hasn't performed great over that entire period of time. Denard is certainly a great player, we had our share of problems with him, but I'll always enjoy his birthday celebration in South Bend last year Great game, even if it was an offensive snooze fest.

They still have momentum kind of, but theres no meter. You can pump the crowd up at home on big plays, I think it's the right joystick on the PS3 controller. It'll affect the other team's concentration I guess, receivers don't run very good routes as a result if I remember, blocking isn't as good, yadda yadda.

Also, you can put in chants, cheers, and the band if you want to put in 5-10 minutes of work. I've got a collection of ND Band stuff I collected from Operation Sports, various places around the net, and stuff I've ripped and edited from game footage. I just added the new 2012 Kickoff song "Here Come the Irish" in accapella (Taken from Michigan game last year) along with the "Shipping Up to Boston." Theres some other new stuff too, like the Seven Nations Army chant they do at games now, Thunderstruck, and the theme from Rudy. This is in addition to all the regular stuff like the Fight Song, 1812 Overture, Rakes of Mallow, etc. Zip file is here: ND Sounds - Download - 4shared - Nick Bart
