Since the Big Guy JPham jumped in here and said that these new "promotions" were news to him, is this some sort of Palace Coup organized by Ironman? Gad! The thirst for power extending into the sacred corridors of IE.

If true, I would like to state that I am the King's Man and am loyal to the Throne! And I will use my 2500 pound Red Bombs in his service.

Not that he'd need any help merely extermination any insect infestation by the flash of a keyboard.....

You forgot to mention "Need to know at least 3 presidents, living or dead. Be able to paint yourself in water color, be a member of at least 2 secret societies and applying for a 3rd. Be able to recite Pi to the 1024th decimal."

These are implicit in the "exacting standards" requirement.

If NDinL.A. left us wanting of any particular of the mentioned criteria, I think we can all agree with what he's had to put up with there must be no lack of self-loathing in him to have agreed to do it for as long as he has.

But in all seriousness and in his defense (I know your comment was aspiring for jest, but I know NDinL.A. has his detractors somewhere out there), this place is not the place that it is except for the time he put into helping us clean it up. Back when I was handed the reins, the site was pretty rough around the edges and while I had an idea about what sort of tone and direction I wanted us to take, it could not have been accomplished without a guy like NDinL.A. I hope we can all appreciate that much.

JPham - if possible, could this be the impetus that allows the creation of an "ignore" option on IE? I know its been discussed in the past, but at least it might avoid the public blood-letting if folks who don't particularly care for each other bump heads.
