I haven't taken the time to read their blog posts, but I do frequent the football forum to see what they're saying/see if they know anything specific.

Some of their posters aren't too bad actually, quite a few of them get by being pretty pro-ND.

I don't doubt it if you say so, but I am Ohio born and raised and have never met an Ohio State fan who said a single positive word about Notre Dame. But I'm from the ahole part of the state.

Lol dying to know what you mean by this. I know people from all over Ohio and I've yet to identify the a-hole part.

Same here. Even in my own family.

You mean because they are all aholes or because none are aholes? lol.....

I'm from the Youngstown area -- not a lot of varnish or sugarcoating on opinions up that way.

Edit. Ohio has four separate a$$hole parts making it one of (but not the most) as$holish states there is.

Yes, but I love it so. That's why hating Ohio State, for me, is such sweet sorrow.

Me too! We live about as far apart as you can get (in Ohio), you where it is beautifully wooded, there are rolling hills, and Amish Cheese factories dotting the landscape; me in the flattest place on earth where they filled in a primordeal swamp with a first growth forrest, ceramic tile and all their early refuge . . .

Dave Matter really seems to have blown those comments out of proportion. The Elliots basically admitted that OSU's higher profile/ larger following were a factor in Zeke's decision. But the reporter chose to spin that as an expectation that the Mizzou media fawn attention upon him.

Me thinks a combo of....
A. Media's "all about me" tendancy
B. Media's "there's nothing else to write about, what meaningless pot can I stir today" reach
C. Mizzou's lack of big time anything (sports, academics, media, etc..) translating to "poor me" self pitty

B-I-N-G-O

The only thing exciting about Mizzou sports is how much sh!t Frank Haith (the current men's BB coach and former Miami BB coach) is in due to the Miami investigation. They moved to the SEC and into irrelevance.

Just thought this was surprising and interesting. Would not have guessed that, but I can see it now.

Carlos Hyde went for 970 yards in 10 games last year. If he hadn't been injured or we didn't have to miss out on the bowl game and the ccg, he would've been the first RB to reach 1000 yards.

I assume that means College Championship Game?

Do you honestly think y'all would have been #2 in the country over Bama with your abysmal schedule and near losses to Indiana (Y'all gave up 49. 49!!!), Purdue, and Mich State?

Conference Championship game.

And no, we would've played ND in the NCG. Over 'Bama. Wins are the most important in the current BCS format, not the way they are acquired. We wouldn't have been ranked so low had we been bowl-eligible.

I agree with this. Two undefeated teams go to the ship regardless of who bama beats with one loss.
