alford on bryant:

has the ability make people miss, run between tackles
doesnt have elite speed but has enough to get the job done.
198 lbs give or take, powerful, great build, strong legs, ability to accelerate in contact and also make guys miss.
gives you theo riddick type versatility as he has great hands and can run routes
he will be a bigger back than theo but very similiar player.
will be used in the passing game.
finishes runs and doesnt go down easily.
HS offense similar to ND offense.
Excellent balance, played at high level in florida
will not be awestruck when he gets to ND
Hes not coming here to sit and wait, he wants to compete
requested film from ND to coaches to study the offense.

Interview with Heuerman:
adjusting to weather in SB.
enjoying time so far, wonderful.
Why he picked ND: 1st school to offer him, from day 1 alford told him ND was special. Didnt understand why until he got to campus for first time.
Transition to EE: Always wanted to EE like older bro at OSU. Inspired by his success. Motivated Mike to follow his lead by coming in early.
Loves the offense at ND and how it uses its TE's and how Eifert lined up at 5 different positions alone in the Navy game. See his OC at ND as the best in the country.
Looking forward to competing be that on ST or on offense in his freshman year (sounds like he doesnt wanna RS)
Best thing at ND so far: Finally being here and getting the decision making process behind him. Wanted to enroll as soon as he committed back in April.

Kid is very softly spoken. Even keeled i would say.
