That's how I read it. I'd bet the ND coaches are calling all the 2014 commits and saying:

I dont know this kid but a friend of mine is his cousin. Apparently this kid is all irish and loves everything about ND.........take it with a grain of salt but she seems to think he wont even consider another school

If I remember correctly the Indy Star did an article on him early last year and in it he said ND was his dream. I think he may be the 2014 version of Jaylon. This is one kid who's ceiling is the sky.

He scored 17 points in a overtime loss in the state semi-finals today. Scored 17 points. Looked pretty athletic. Not sure if he is really 6'3" though.

Anyone knows what really holds back Brent on the ratings? He has good size, pretty good speed and he high points the ball really well. I don't see why he's not a top 5 WR.

He verballed pretty early, which has probably stopped the offers from flooding in. To wear the hat of the defense attorney on Brent's ratings, if offers aren't coming in, the site's probably aren't that interested in the recruitment and following his athletic progress. Recruiting is a business, and guys that verbal early aren't as sexy as uncommitted players.

Yeah. It's always hard for the Indiana guys to get up in the rankings. Has he given any indication if he's going to go to any camps and workouts this summer?

I don't think it's a problem getting attention in Indiana. It's probably more about the camps.

Top 5 is a BIG compliment, but I imagine after camps and his senior season, he will rise to a consensus top 15 WR.
He plays low level Indiana competition. That's why he's ranked so low.

He plays in my town. Speedway which is 2A meaning about 600 students per school. It's shocking that someone has actually got recognized here
