I think once the initial feeling of visiting wears off and the negative ND publicity simmers he'll be able to see the decision more clearly. I think he's all Irish.

What a relief. Folston sounded really high on Auburn in the 247 update. But it WAS an update on Auburn's 247 site, and you can never tell when players are just being nice because they know what a reporter wants to hear. I'm cautiously optimistic while we await more info.

I'm hoping that when he says they should more info very soon on BGI he means Jason is finalizing a Tunnel Vision for us. In any case it's been a couple hours and I haven't seen any more info.

Very nice. Can't wait to read full update when they get it done.

If we keep this whole class together and then even add a couple "marginal" pieces left on the board I'll be thrilled. Prevot and Hollins both got big bumps on Rivals. Smythe is really a solid prospect. Then there are some longshot crown jewels like EV, Fitts, Isaac, etc.... feeling better than I did a couple days ago. Could be a great finish.

Coaches working their butts off.

TV just came out. A lot of optimism both Folston and GB sign with ND. Alford and Folston had a long conversation after his OV to Auburn, and he reiterated his pledge to ND.

Just want Feb. 6th to get here.

Thanks for the update. I'm sure Gus was trying to sell him on the role he'd play in Auburn's offense. But all he needs to do is look at how BK utilizes backs to know that ND is the right choice (based on this one criteria).

I would like all the coaches to get a salary bump, and Alford to also get a little something extra under his dinner plate.

Believe me Im not tryen to say I want him to go to Auburn....but if he is from Cocoa (which Im pretty familiar with), Im assuming he doesn't come from a ton of money so flights for his family to go to games would be a lil expensive, just saying

This is very good news. The distance thing definitly makes sense, so its good to hear that he reiterated his pledge.

Actually flights to the bend from Sanford are less than 150 round trip on Allegiant Air. The drive to Auburn is long and miserable, I've done that drive when UCF played there. With gas prices what they are the cost of flying vs driving isn't that far apart

True I have flown that flight too but I am just saying if there are more than 3 or 4 people that want to attend or visit...driving would be a lil cheaper (more of a pain but cheaper) also add the taxes and all the other crap the 150 ticket adds up to 200 plus. I hope his family sees the sacrifice is worth it and looks at the long term instead of the now.

Again, Christian said he is "hearing" that. He put the quotes around hearing, not me. Could be coming from anywhere, he didn't say who he heard it from. That's also all he said. He had nothing about Alford taking to Folston or anything like that. I'd take it as TV is the more up to date and correct info.

I have a feeling this has Deontay Greenberry written all over it. A NSD flop type thing. I'm sure I will be wrond, I usually am. I just want to hear something from the horses mouth. Not a reporter saying he is "hearing" things
