Is that ESPN Insider update on Eddie V visit to SC that is on their recruiting page new?
All Trojan commits believe he will end up back at USC.
despite any rumors floating around, he did not re-commmit to SC and is still planning on announcing his decision on February 6 at his school. Will choose from SC, UCLA, Bama, Washington, and Notre Dame. Annoyed with rumors about re-committing.
Talked about his visit this weekend, it went very well and his family got a lot accomplished. Met with academic people, called visit "intriguing."
Has previous relationship with/knowledge of new Def coordinator, said he likes how he'd be used. 3 and 5 technique.
Will visit ND this coming weekend and Bama the following. Will look at the campus, fit with players, family feeling, coaches and scheme, and added that academics are huge.

USC players also thought. Redfield was gonna recommit. Very optimistic bunch.
Conventional wisdom was that we'd be in great shape if Vanderdoes made it out of this weekend without recommitting. That happened. I'm happy.
yep, ND and the staff have a great opportunity to sell the program to him, which is more than any of us could have hoped for a little over a month ago.
4 teams left in the picture i just don't think that is good for the Irish.
How on Earth can it be bad considering where they were a month ago??
I just think he got his feeling hurt by USC so he is making them stress and making them show him more attention. In the end i think he stays at USC.
Fingers crossed his Mom gets swept up in the ND experience, that is always a big help.

If his mom does come we may want to abort your plan of busing in some IU girls to show him a good time. Not sure momma would aprove of that action.

Got 5th star on rivals. If he hadn't already.

Yep, that was my biggest concern that we wouldn't get a shot at him and the visit wasn't going to happen. I'm sure the staff will be on it's A--Game and the University will sell itself. Hopefully the vibe will be strong and the Teo "stuff" will have subsided...though I don't think that matters much if at all.
