This reminds me of the "John Ryan" scandal at my highschool when I was a Junior. A girl, who was the best soccer player in school and also very popular, made up a boyfriend for months. She would even pretend to talk to him on the phone for hours infront of people. This was before social media websites, so it was just a lot of talking on the phone, stories that started with "...you just missed John". She got drunk one night and had a nervous breakdown and admitted it. She had to go to counseling after.

I'm not mad at you for finding any of this funny, but you acted like there was a problem with people who don't. There's not. People are just handling this differently. You have to understand not everyone will agree with jokes, just like some like, may not agree with the "tight asses".
