I think most services had him in the 30-40 ranked WR range. ESPN had him as a 3 star #84 WR.



FAIL.

I was wondering why they still have him ranked so low (*19WR), but they have already had to raise him 65 spots. Talk about not doing your homework.

ESPN was too busy promoting John Ameche's book to get their work in on recruiting and noticing how much of a balla Deontay is.

I think there is a little bit of that but I also feel it just shows how difficult it can be to project what 17-18 kids are going to look like the following year. Think the staff did a masterful job with this one.
