Here's my shocked face:

That's their stock response for anyone who gets away. Either he didn't have a commitable offer, or Urban just wasn't that interested. Because no one turns down Urban Meyer.

Its actually a bit of a running joke now. As in, kid from Ohio commits and the first thing someone says is "I guess his OSU offer was not commitable." Its not really about being butthurt regarding any particular kid, its about being delusional in general.

Lol he was Urban's first in state offer for the 2014 class, but they are probably right, he is way low on their board.

^^^^^ This is so true. Buckeye fans are completely delusional. They are used to getting the best in the state for over 20 years now (Cooper era dramatically improved their recruiting and have been outstanding since then). This is the kind of response I would expect from a Buckeye fan. Don't try and reason with them since you can't reason with a crazy person.

Good article on him on 247.

-He really liked Notre Dame after talking to Heistand. This was one thing that stood out to him when he made a decision.
-Same high school as former players Robby Paris and John Ryan. I did not know that.
-Was blown away by what Notre Dame had to offer when he visited for the Michigan game.
-Said that if other schools try to talk tim he will just simply tell them that he is not interested.

Seems like a real good kid. Can;t have enough elite offensive linemen.

I'm new to 247, I have never subsrcibed to a site until yesterday. If the mods think I have posted to much "premium" info just delete it. Thanks

The issue with posting "premium" info is copyright violation. News, like recruit quotes, is not subject to copyright, so feel free to post direct quotes or paraphrase to your heart's content. The only thing you can't do is copy and paste large chunks of a premium article here.

It's a really good sight for recruiting purposes. I would disagree thought seeing both in person I would say Dante Booker Jr. is #1 but either way that is great.

Another lineman [see Elmer] rated top player in his state? AND goes to Notre Dame? AND one from Michigan and one from OHIO?

Jaw drops...................

Jaw drops: Did you actually have to pick it up and reattach it? Did you have to wash it off first?

Or, was it a new kind of candy, "Jaw Drops", for a surprising taste as well as the texture of a rock.

That's gonna chap a lot of asses in Colombus.

Eh. 247 has him as the #22 player in Ohio.

Getting Thaddeous Snodgrass would make a few people pretty angry. If Kelly and Co somehow got Dante Booker, they'd be livid.

And by livid I mean they'd make up excuses about how Urban didn't want them.

This kid is really intelligent and well spoken. So matter of fact. As Jaylon Smith's personality worked through the '13 class, I hope the '14 class follows some of Jimmy's matter of fact, tell it like you see it traits.

IrishMob13 and now GoldenArmy14. I like hw they come up with these names. It gives the kids a common denominator and I think if makes them feel part of the team before they get on campus.
