Ah, it all makes sense why Louis Nix was switched from #9 to #1. They want to be able to have Mike and Nix out together in our goal line package!

Mike knew we would go after another TE / Big Skill type if it was the right guy. See him reaching out to McNeil and the kid showing his true colors.

Mike strikes me as the type of kid that could care less about those types of things. He knows in his mind he is good enough to play, and is going to go out and prove it.

I just watched this kids film again. I am really glad we got this kid. He has soft hands, but more importantly (for me) he tries to bury defenders when blocking. You can tell from his interviews and film he has a chip on his shoulder. I'm excited to see him with another twenty pounds on his frame.
