You guys can blame this on BK all you want but as you could tell by most of our 2013 recruits, they committed to Notre Dame, the school. AA was never one of the those kids. He was always unsure, as he showed time and time again. This is just a convenient excuse for him and his family.

Both sad and hilarious watching this board melt down. I hate, HATE, when grown men talk **** about high school kids because of recruiting, but in this case I think it needs to be said that there is something I don't respect about the way Alex is wired. I don't care if you're 5 or 85, the thing inside of you that makes you lack conviction is the same and doesn't change. The kid is a flake. If another kid that has been solid throughout the process flips, I'll have to respect that decision. But this kid has changed his mind at least 5 times now just that we know of.

One of the top 5 players in the class, who happens to play at probably the thinnest position on our depth chart, just decommitted ... still reeling from the suckiness of this. Anzalone was one of our most important recruits.

Who do we get to replace him?? There are no more top ILBs on the market.

Hope this doesn't end up pushing Jaylon inside ... he has the freak athleticism to play anywhere but I want that crazy speed at DOLB. Don't think it will ... Randolph worked at ILB at AA practice, so maybe he could move over and Hollins or Prevot step in at CAT? Don't know but it will be interesting to see how we close now.

I think BK is getting a lot of venom here too. He is the one I have issue with right now. AA's dad was always pushing Florida, and this was a perfect storm in terms of uncertainty and timing to do it.
