Based on the way the 4th ball machine kept firing the ball over his head when he followed Max, I don't think he's too tall for RB.

I saw a picture of him yesterday, and he looked 5'10"ish and pretty built. He is not huge like Bryant, but he looks more like a RB than a DB. I would not describe him as wirey or lanky... more like half way between K. Russell and G. Bryant. Long story short, he's just a smaller RB.

The guys at 247 have been raving about Folston having the perfect body type for RB.

ESPNU just replayed the skills challenge. I agree with you guys, he has great hands. Kelly is setting his team up to have one of the best backfields in the country and the best backfield we have had in years

i heard he's going to be competing for Toma's spot... no?

Theo's spot. He will be a hybrid. Neal will be taking Toma's spot and I am very excited about that. I wanted Neal in the offense this year but Kelly didn't agree

man i know toma isn't the flashiest, fastest, quicker than fast or whatever else you want to say...but the man was about as reliable as we could have had

Yep, I recall Kelly was directly asked at a late-season presser why Neal wasn't playing more at slot and his answer was simply, "Robby's consistency."

With these two guys committed, I think its funny to look back in time before James even committed and think about the discussions we had about not possibly getting an RB at all this year.

Any concerns that the staff didn't get Ezekiel Elliott now? Not on my part.
*First name could certainly be spelled incorrectly.

Very concerned. Urban gets who Urban wants. Brian Kelly needs to overcome that roadblock.

Nice pass breakup of Shane Morris just now. Another half step and it was a pick 6.

Beautiful pass breakup by Folston. Shane Morris looks lousy.

If we got Folston a year ago he would be a CB. He's just an athlete. Can't wait to get him to ND!

Me2SouthBend , I was thinking the same exact thing a couple days ago and just never posted it. We were all so bummed about that now I am glad he didnt take folston's or Bryant's spot.
