What gifts did you give and get this year?

First off Merry Christmas to my IE friends hope you're all having a great holiday with your friends and family this year. Just curious as to what you all got this Christmas and what you gave your loved ones this year. For my mother I got her a gift certificate to her favorite restraunt here in town. For my grandma I got her the seasons of Modern Family on dvd she loves that show. For my grandfather who loves Harley Davidson I got him a few Harley shirts. I got my aunt and uncle gift certificates to buffalo wild wings and applebees. For one cousin I got him a Chicago Bears wireless controller for his PS3 and for the other cousin I got him Batman Arkham City for the Xbox 360. For my fiance since she is the most difficult person in the world to buy anything for I went to her amazon wish list and bought her a necklace she really wanted along with a Wonder Woman statue for her desk at work and an ND pair of pj pants (Im trying my best to make her a football fan lol). For my friends I bought one of them Batman Knightfall vol. 1 graphic novel, for another I got them a best buy gift card and I bought another the first volume of the Walking Dead comics another I bought a rosary for, and finally for one friend I got her a book of poetry because she's into that kind of thing. This year unlike last year I was able to buy for everyone which was truly a blessing. Everything has been so much better this year personally and I thank the Lord everyday for that.

As far as what I got my granparents, aunt, and uncle, are going to help set it up so I can turn cable back on....hopefully its back before the 7th! My mom bought me some dress clothes since most of the clothes I have are jeans and ND and comic realted shirts. One friend bought me a spiderman t-shirt and a few got me Amazon gift cards. Finally my lovely fiance bought me this batch of goodies here in the pic below.

A very cool ND shirt, Batman Knightfall vol. 3. Superman Earth One volumes 1 and 2 The story of the Rock, Justice League unlimited on DVD and an iphone 4 which should be arriving anyday now. What all have you had the pleasure of giving and reciving here on this hoilday, my friends. No matter what I all hope you have had an enjoyable holiday its not something to take for granted.

I have 2 brothers, none of which are sports fans. Of all I recieved, only one thing was ND. It was a 'sportula', and ND spatula for the grill.

I got both my kids new bikes (btw mistake waiting the Christmas Eve to assemble, mistake) along with a ton of other stuff, my wife received a spa day, coach shoes and matching hand bag, and assorted other burly stuff. Me, now I got ND apparel and, ND beer mug, ND Undefeted season framed pic, and my wife got me a wild boar hunt over in Okeechobee for a weekend in January!

Lol. Actually I got a really cool 3 ft x 5 ft Notre Dame national championship banner. A $hit load of Notre Dame hoodies and shirts and some other things.

Now to the good stuff, got the wife a laptop and a kitchen island(just got done with set-up and assembly) and DS games and hell I don't even really know what else. She seems happy and that's all that really matters to me!
I got my away Manti jersey that is just beautiful, an ND beanie, some Pats shirts and a hoodie, and some PS3 games and some movies! Great day all in all, just feel blessed to have such an amazing wife and a great family even though I won't get to see them today. I also feel blessed to have all of my fellow Domer's on here! Hope everyone has a great day today and everyday! Oh, my Red Ryder BB gun is supposed to be here on the 7th!

My wife is awesome. I got a limited edition collectible notre dame football. This is a picture of mine now. I also got a set of the stick people that go on the back window of your vehicle to show your family. But this set each stick person is decked out in ND stuff. I can't show you a pic of them on the vehicle because currently I am in the middle of a nice sized winter storm.

Funny you should mention assembling bikes. Many years ago my father asked me to put together a bike for my little sister Christmas Eve. She was about 8 and I was about 13. It was something of a rite of passage for me. My father trusted me and my mechanical skills and I was allowed to stay up till 2 AM.

The best part, though, was that the bike held together and little sis never did an asphalt face plant because the front wheel came off.

My best friend was just over and we exchanged gifts. He's a huge Bammer fan, but he always supports me through the rough years and has been pretty well behaved since the matchup was set. He got me a NCG hoodie with both helmets on it and the ND BCS hat! Love it! Last year I got him a Richardson jersey. Though it's hard to deal with opposing teams fans at times, I have a lot of friends that are Tide groupies and they are all good dudes! I will say though, I want this game bad! I would hate to have to deal with anymore of their success especially at our expense. Sorry for rambling, but this is the game of all games in my house and I can't wait for our guys to play their hearts out!

My wife and kids received ND tervis cups to go with the one I already have. Also, my wife got a Kindle Fire HD and a blanket chest (that I built). I got a air-less finish nailer from Ridgid. The boys got a bunch of legos and Hot Wheels.

Sidenote: The ND/Michigan game was part of my birthday/Christmas present also.

Got a bunch of wish list items for the fam and got my wife the MacBook Pro she'd been hoping for. I received a lot of cool gifts including an Ooma and some cashola, but one of the coolest was a t-shirt from my mother- and father-in-law of the ND/OU game. He thought that particular game was worth remembering because it was, in his eyes, ND's coming out party this year. I was pretty stoked. Unfortunately it's two sizes too big LMAO!
