This kid will be the most traveled player in the history of college football. Looks like Chuck wants him pretty bad down in NDSouth.

Read this without laughing... I dare you...

Ex-Gator Chris Martin to play at City College this fall, undecided for 2013 | Gator Bytes blog: University of Florida | The Palm Beach Post

I would take him at Notre Dame... just sayin....

With his history, he may declare for the NFL draft early; IrishPat will have him ranked as a top 5 pick (as a junior)

I'd bet that Martin has never even heard of the Allman Brothers. Sadly ironic.

Not close.

As I recall that guy's last GPA was 3 something AT ND. I've never seen college academic numbers for Martin but have a hunch he might make 3 something if you ADDED all his semesters together.

Considering his multiple stops I doubt he has enough transferable credits to graduate in 2 more years.

I said that two days ago somewhere else. Nice recycling

And I kind of embarrassed he was even committed to ND at any point. Had to be signs that he was.. uh... unreliable?

Lynch won't be able to enroll at USF until second summer session. Too short of a turnaround to be there for session No. 1 per Skip Holtz.

I know weatherwise "summer" starts early in FLA but when does summer school start?

Interesting. According to the USF website the first or "A" session begins on May 14. ND Final Exams end May 11, three days earlier. However, the USF deadline for Undergraduate Transfer students is March 1. Brian Harding tweeted Lynch's decision to transfer out of ND on April 14, six weeks after the USF March 1 deadline.

OK, guess that explains Skip Holtz saying the first session was a time problem for Lynch. Only problem is the Undergraduate Transfer Application Deadline for the Second Summer Session, the "B" Session is ALSO March 1. Seems Lynch either already has gotten his first waiver or he applied to USF quite a while back.

Wow, former #NotreDame recruit, Cal recruit, Florida Gator & junior college attendee comes full circle and will join Charlie Weis at Kansas.

Eric Hansen‏@hansenNDInsider

His name is Chris Martin.. he committed to #NotreDame for the class of 2010 hours after Manti Te'o signed his 09 letter of intent.

Played at City College of San Francisco the past season. Will have 2 seasons at Kansas if he indeed ends up enrolling (2013, 2014).

Holy $#!+
Hope it works out for him, and for CW. I just hope he has his head screwed on straight now. Too much talent, and not every kid gets ten chances at an education, not to mention play D1 football.

Hopefully, he does well. Sometimes, all that stuff can be overwhelming for 17-18 years old kids. I'm sure he realizes by now how lucky he is.

A Charlie Weis lead team talking up the upcoming season?

I'm shocked. Shocked I say.

Weis has upgraded talent by a lot. And Jake Heaps is going to be MUCH better than Dayne was last year. Could be interesting.

Also interesting...KU had never recruited a 5 star player. They've since added Dayne, Heaps, Martin, and Justin McCay via transfer since Charlie arrived. All 5 star guys on one site or another.

Not sure it will mean anything...but, maybe... I hope so.

i noticed he hasnt signed anywhere as a UDFA. Sad for him. In HS he was higher rated than Gronk, Gresham etc..pity it never worked out.
