Yep, I cannot argue with this reasoning at all. This is why I was a little concerned about the Miami trip.

Sapp is saying there is no reason to be concerned, so I don't know what to make of the fact that he didn't choose to visit us first. Maybe nothing at all. Or maybe this was the only weekend he could go to Miami? Or maybe he wants to take the non-ND visits before the AA game, but he figures he can take the ND visit any time because he knows he will commit to us anyway? I don't know but like you I will certainly be very pleased if he does come out for a visit this weekend.

Apparently Rivals is saying that now AQM is planning to visit this weekend, so if that actually happens I'll be a really happy camper.

I'm with you 100%. This may very well end up well for the Irish, but until jimmymac can confirm his presence on campus, I won't be able rest easy about this one lol

Let's hope so! Would be a great step in the right direction and a DIRECT contrast to what Miami has to offer with that visit presumably still so fresh in his mind. There should be no doubt, after this weekend, about where he's leaning.

I wouldn't be too concerned. He'll take his visit to ND and when he does it's over. But let's say he says he wants to be a Cane. Do you really think BK and company would just let it happen? They would be all over him just like Mr. Tuitt.

for what it's worth...his profile page on scout lists him as a visitor this weekend with ND as "high" interest"

and miami, michigan st., and rutgers as his other 3 finalists.

That's great to hear! With all the speculation we have heard about AQM in the last couple months, it would be nice to lock him up this weekend and then have a huge showing at the all-star games with all the other top guys on the big board! This is what being a ND fan is supposed to feel like!

It is possible that we get three guys to commit at all star games which is exciting. However its also possible that they decide to go somewhere else and all this excitement turn into rage

Seriously, good luck to any young man that doesn't want to get is ticket punched for this train ride!

Not saying it couldn't happen, but if they blink, they don't belong on the train in the first place.

Per 247 isn't definitely visiting this weekend but is still looking to schedule one. ND still appears to be in good shape.

I'm probably just being paranoid here, but I just kind of feel like the writing is on the wall and maybe this isn't as much of a slam dunk as we all think.
