I predict Butler is the standout player of this class and not because he is at a position of need.

Comparing to other people it's hard to compare because u think about people like jaylon and it's hard to compare. I think devin will be very solid much like Blanton was his whole career. Similarities are tall, long, and athletic

Would you say it's hard to compare?

Butler is much more athletic than Blanton IMO.

I agree but because I always thought Blanton was a safety playing CB. I think his career would have been even better if he was moved to S. Not double guessing, just some thoughts.

I don't know why I never noticed this before, but after watching that recent tape he really reminds me of another recent DC area corner who was relatively underrated coming out of the region - Vontae Davis.

Scout.com: Vontae Davis Profile

I watched nearly all of Vontae's games at Illinois and he was an absolute stud and warranted the first round selection a couple years back. I think Devin has a similar build, talent level, and athletic ball hawking ability in the defensive backfield. Excited to see him come aboard!

All the talent and natural ability in the world, but as a Dolphan, he's lazy and he's consistently underperformed. Not much professionalism about him.

Yeah, which got him shipped off to Indy. Sad, because I remember when he was in school Zook would actually make him eat to get his body fat UP to normal levels. Now he has conditioning problems in the offseason!?!? Just plain lazy.

He's taking a long train ride Friday so he can visit. Will get a ride home with Anzalone and his family.
