Is it just me or is the light starting to come on for Ishaq?

I said on ISD that I thought this was his best game in terms of intensity and effort. Combine that with his physical gifts and it will mean great things for our D.

He seemed to show emotion which I haven't seen a lot from him..Out of our great recuriting class he was my favorite kid. He hasn't Had to be great because Shembo has played awesome all year. When he figures it out watch out

Made some good plays, and was out of position on others.

Still learning.

I remember him being out of position on one play that was a pass up the middle, but Ishaq had a great game and was pressuring the QB multiple times in key situations. Really enjoyed Ishaq's performance today.

This kid was angry AND mad!

Ishaq is the "subways first man in" in my opinion. Great play when needed!!!!

Apparently Ishaq was a big factor in Jay Hayes' comfort level with ND and committing without visiting per this article:

Notre Dame football recruiting: DL Hayes chooses Irish sight unseen - southbendtribune.com

Quote from the article;

"He called his recruiter, Irish defensive coordinator Bob Diaco, and became the third verbal commitment of the 2014 class.

He was amped up,” Hayes said of Diaco’s response"

Love it how Diaco is always stoked, LOL. Wasn't it a similar reaction to Anzalone's original commitment where it was publicized that he was way geeked when hearing about it?

pleased that Ishaq provided the assist-he's so dang quiet that I never really knew he was happy at ND. when he explodes-look out.

Seems to me Ishaq is playing with a little bit more of a edge, a little more physical. His athleticism is show more and more.

I was starting to worry a bit earlier this year, but the future sure seems bright right now.

Yep, he is playing better every game. That "fumble" recovery was nice, but a crappy call negated it.

Yep. He made plays tonight.
That "fumble" he scooped up could have been six.

Yep. He got robbed of a TD tonight.

He played a really good game tonight, but he still needs to get stronger.

Thought this was a really good confidence builder for him. I hope he plays the rest of the season with the energy he did today.

He's really earning the extra playing time!
Next year all of these qb pressures turn into sacks!

I hate when they blow the whistle like that. I think they should continue the play and work it out after. I've seen many a TD go because they blow the whistle.

Really happy to see him all over the place.

They need to find a way to get both Prince and Ishaq on the field at that same time next year
