Serious. I get that part. But those teams in 2007 have literally nothing in common with either of these two teams. If the coach was the same you could say "they've been here before", if it was two years ago you could say "the seniors here know what it is to win a big game", if we ran rich rod's offense I'd get it, but none of those similarities are there.

It's meant to inspire hope (ie: the "anything can happen" mentality)

I was thinking the same thing. Kind of reminds me of this old Jerry Seinfeld joke (not right on point, but close):

Seinfeld - American sports fans - YouTube

(I should know how to embed videos by now ... sorry)

Saturday's game has nothing to do with the Pitt/WVU game in 2007 except that one team will be wearing the same clothes. Lol.

118 plays ran at practice...Kelly looking to ramp up the offense a bit. Can't wait to see it.

BK looks tired. Maybe the guys came in unfocused after the win at OU? Lots of yelling?

The ghost of Beano Cook is clearly fueling ND's title run. Here's hoping he's not too conflicted to let us roll over Pitt.

We should (key word: should) crush Pitt without any trouble, with or without Graham or Street.

Can anyone tell me when Lou and Mark May make their picks for the week? I'd like to tune in to witness Mark May pick Pitt.

On a related note, I'm actually a little proud of myself for NOT knowing when Mark May is on TV.

From the ESPN article on the charges for Graham, Street, and Pitts:

".....including Mitchell who recognized Street from a class they took together on vampires."

?????

My thinking is that this supports the claim that we are missing something from this story. It already seemed like a bizarre story that three football players would attack someone for no (racial?) reasons and Pitt fans seem to think that it is extremely unlikely that Graham would be involved in something like this (especially the racial slur). Now we have a witness talking about vampires. Idk, something just seems off about all of this

This is a disgrace to the education system. I'm attending a community college in Phoenix and they don't even offer stupid courses like this.
