I think it would depend if USC can win out in the Pac 12. If they do that, then CGD will be there. And I'll be front row with my Manteisman sign. That game is going to be unreal if all goes according to plan.

Me either, but it just keeps adding to our relevance. Obviously, if we weren't they wouldn't continue to talk about us and show up at our games.

The amp'ed up crowd will be good for the team anyways. If they can't handle the ruckus of 82,000 we are doomed if we make a BCS game.

Other big games are:

Florida v. Georgia
Bama v. Ms. State.

We also thought we would have to put up more points to beat michigan... and Miami. I know that Oklahoma is better than these two, but I think our D takes care of business. They're only getting better.

And we do play better away from home. Why? Everett Golson. When asked about being nervous in his first start in Ireland, he said something along the lines of "no. I don't know anyone in the stands. All my family and friends are back home, so why would I be nervous?" I think this is part of why we see a little bit of drop in his play when he is at home. I'm willing to bet we see a better Everett for the OK, BC, and usc games. And hopefully the remaining home games too since they are against less than great opponents.

And just think... at the start of the year many of you were writing the OK and usc games off as unwinnable ;)

Whoa WHoa Whoa.... playing in Ireland is not a road game. It is merely a game away from home, or so some think......see we were the home team. Which makes it a home game. So we have only played one true road game all season. This team has no idea what it is like to play in front of 80,000 people at night on the road.

Lucky to have 4 tix, headed up mid day Friday from Big D.
Pretty familiar with OK, this will be a tough one I think. They can put points on the board often and quickly. We can't afford to get behind. Hope Irish hang in there. Special teams will be crucial.

I'm not trying to be argumentative, but I was under the impression Navy was the technical home team.

Yes my bad they were technically the away team but apparently that still does not qualify as a road win in which we played extremely well. They were home team in Chicago. Nor does that count as playing on the road. So from now on every game played at a neutral site will be considered a game away from home and not a road game. Got it? Good cause I don't want rehash this next season when we start talking road wins versus top 20 teams

We better come out a lot better than we did today. I don't think that we will be favored in this game despite being ranked higher.

The most complete team we face at least until USC, maybe all year. We'll see. I don't see us being favored. HUUUUUGE GAME. Forget BYU, we pulled it out. All focus on OKLA.

The nice thing is that we didn't really put a lot of plays on tape for OU to look at this week. They are going to have to look at limited tapes several weeks old and assume what we are going to throw at them.

That's my only explanation for BK's playcalling this year. I understand he's working with a young QB, solid defense, veteran O-Line, but there have been some situations where he's had the opportunity to open it up and he's kept it vanilla. My only guess is that he's been saving things for the big games. I donno, just my observation.
