^ I would assume Gameday would be in Norman for the game if both teams win next week.

Also, Okla looked like a top 5 team against Texas. Probably will be our toughest game of the year, but if the defense keeps them under 20 and we don't turn the ball over I think we can pull it out.

I don't know if you saw the play, but there was one time that the OU RB hurdled a player, at the same time stiff-arming another into the ground. That most likely wont happen against us.

I don't forsee an issue containing Blake Bell. Our secondary should be up for the task of defending against Jones' long ball. I think it's going to be a matter of getting our offense going.

Because this game is at Oklahoma it isn't televised by NBC therefor they won't set the game time until they determine if they want it prime time or not. My guess is it will be an 8 pm game.

Nope-if you go to the school's athletic pages and check out the schedules it doesn't even show who the coverage is going to be by yet. Could be ESPN, could be ABC. Mostly going to be determined how each team does this week.

We both win, College Gameday may show up as is being discussed.

I watched the game...the thing that sealed UT's fate was POOR TACKLING. All game long they didn't tackle anyone.

UT doesn't play defense.


OU is better than they played against Kstate and is probably the best team in the Big12.

True. I'm not worried about running QB's.

But Kenny Stills will be a challenge for our young CB's. He's a fantastic WR.

Assuming ND beats BYU and Oklahoma holds serve against Kansas (haha) then this will definitely be the game. This matchup could be as good as #3 vs. #6 if the right teams lose.

What scares me is that we can't rely on inaccurate passes or WRs that drop balls against Oklahoma. I don't think their defense is that good to the point where we can't get to at least 21 to 28 points... but if we leave guys open in zone coverage on 3rd and 12 we will not get bad throws like we've gotten from some other teams this year. They will be thrown accurately and caught. The pass rush 100% needs to get home for us to keep their points down.

I hate looking ahead and not focusing on BYU... but this game is shaping up to be an epic showdown.

Every sports news site I have looked at still shows TBD, except for USA Today. They are already showing it as a 7:05pm start time.

One of my best buds just got married to an OU grad. I was with them watching the game this saturday. They actually can't stand Landry Jones...which is hilarious as he's a great college QB. Bell can't do anything but run. And he's not even great at that. He's just huge and falls down for 4 yards at a time.

Against us, Landry gives them their best chance. Our pass rush needs to be on, as he doesn't take many sacks. In the two games that have been close for them (one a loss)? UTEP and Kstate...he's taken 5 of the 7 sacks on the season. Getting to him is a must.

I dont know what UT's DC was thinking on a lot of those plays. Stoops had them way off balance. It seemed to me OU was reading UTs "Defense for dummies" book on the sidelines.... He may not have a job after this year. Heck, Mack Brown is on the hot seat now. 2-straight blowouts to your rival.....

Obviously, keep the focus on BYU. But, I think we can beat Oklahoma. There defense is "great" all of a sudden according to espn. Theyre letting up 18 points a game, certainly good, but nowhere near great.

I am confident that we will be able to run the ball on them, and we can not get away from that.

Our defensive line, as usual, will keep up in the game. Oklahoma's offensive line is in for a long night, and landry jones will throw at least 2 INTS. We need to capitalize on turnovers

We can't have stupid penalties, and must take care of the football.

Golson needs to grow in the next 2 weeks, but I am confident he will not see another defense like Stanfords until our bowl game. I think he will look much better and we will see hes athleticism used much more often.

They're so balanced it's going to be tough. Even when they lost to K-state they out-yardaged them. I expect we'll be around 6 point dogs, but hey, if you told me before the season we'd be TD dogs to an Oklahoma team that's rolling, I'd be estatic.
