We know there's very little chance of their WR's getting behind our DB's. But I'm still anxious as to how Diaco handles the package where Stanford sends in 4 tight ends to block who are 300 pounds.

Shouldn't the defense counter that with something similar to a goal line D?

I think the TE's are closer to 250-260 lbs. Toilolo is such a huge mismatch. Now with Montgomery doubtful, Nunes with be looking for the TE's even more and it seems they are his #1, #2 option every passing play the way it is.

Anyone think Ishaq or Ben Councell can match up with Toilolo in order to get a big body on him?

Stanford's gameplan should be a weakness. They will either run or pass to the TE. From watching the Arizona game it looks like Nunes is easy to get rattled which causes his decision skills to implode. Fingers crossed that Tuit and the boys can get a little pressure to limit the time to find their big TE's.

On defense, Stanford looks lost in space with their beef on D.

Even though I respect what Stanford has done over the last few years, I not for one second believe they are better than us. 3 years in a row starts to make people think otherwise and that is just not acceptable. This beastly defense has proven themselves all year but a win here and a dominant performance in this game would bring the hype to a whole other level of hysteria!

The way I see it, Stanford will be tough on the ground period. If (and when) the defense stops the running game, I expect the Irish to get 2-3 INTs after some sloppy down field passes.

Her brother was a student during Kelly's first year, she was on the sideline with Selena Gomez for a game or two all decked out in ND gear. Her brother got made fun of by the kids in his dorm and transferred to Vanderbilt.
