I don't get that argument. Rees gives up 2/3 TOs a game which is unacceptable. Of course he's going to make some great throws, he throws a great ball.

But you can't go through a season where your QB throws 2/3 interceptions a game. There's a reason people question him as the starter.

It is probably because to the Ref he flashed them at the MSU player which would be taunting. I don't think that was his intent but he did it right in front of the MSU player.
