I have two seasons where I live. Hot and muggy, and not so hot and muggy. I do miss the fall weather.

Haha, come on up to Indiana fella. We got all kinds of seasons. When I played in college (in Indiana) it was hot and muggy for the first three weeks. 60s to 70s for the next three to four weeks. Then cold, wet and/or snowing down the stretch. Those were the days.

I'm sick of late starts. Navy was perfect, wake up, watch football and bask in glory all day. Now after a bye week I have to twitch around all day waiting for kickoff.

For reals. I wish I lived on the West Coast.

Or specifically, I wish Texas were on the West Coast :)

-17?! Yikes.

I expecting this to be a toss up, sadly. The passing numbers scare me.

Our pass rush will make sure they won't have time to pass and we will eat the clock running all day. I will be suprised if they get even 300 yards offense.

i hear your argument and can understand....but it allows you to complete things during the day, pregame longer and then i don't have to worry about going anywhere later but to my bed because im so intoxicated...i have 4 kids so it allows me to have the best of both worlds

I do live on the west coast RDU and it still can't come soon enough. I want to see everett have a complete game and our defense to smash the helmets of those hurricanes.

Call me when you're trying to put bedtime eye-drops in a 3 year old while watching the defense chase Denard Robinson.

No crap! Its ridiculous but I do sketch out all day until the game starts. Then I gnaw my fingernails to the bed whilst talking to myself. I wish everygame could start @ 6am. Haha. GO IRISH!!!!!!!

Let's keep it as pure BS folks until we hear/see differently. Rumors like this could start even from foolish misinterpretation, like Tommy taking first team snaps while Everett's shoulder smoothed out.

I agree. Maybe TR is just getting some reps.

My wife and I are laughing at this. We raised five (four boys) so w know exactly what you're talking about. I like the late games myself. Time to get things done then relax and watch the Irish.

Hate late games. I waste the entire day pacing around and thinking about the game. I can't relax and enjoy any of the other football because it all makes me think about the Irish.

That, and we've had a horrible record in night games before this season (or so it feels).

In Ireland the game starts at half past midnight and doesn't finish till 4 or 4.30am. I'm wrecked on the golf course Sunday morning.

That sounds like a Saturday night in Portland too, football season or no!

(And maybe without the golf, just another bar Sunday morning.)

All right all right all riiiiiiiggghhhttt! You're gonna learn today! Ok boys and girls the sleeping giant has rolled over and the past 5 weeks. He's stirring and his eyes are about to open! Today is a nice test for our boys to keep the haters quiet and to make those on the fence start to believe! Our secondary will be tested, our young QB had an extra 2 weeks of film study! Manti is ready to go after a nice visit with his family! The heart and soul of this team is living his mission on the national stage and has not disappointed in any facet of his life! All I know is these dogs are ready and excited and have talked about restoring order for years only this time they have the bite to back it up! If you don't know yet you're gonna learn today!

Almost wish we would start Hendrix today and let him just run a bunch of QB draws up the middle.
