I'll be there, fourth straight. I will be at every game for the rest of the yr except Oklahoma.... Pretty sweet life especially when we're winning

If we're undefeated going into Oklahoma, you're our lucky charm. You're going to the Oklahoma game.

One thing that impresses me about Miami this year is that their fans think that their defense really stinks. Some of them are saying why is this happening in a year when Notre Dame is on the schedule? [There's that "irrelevancy" again].

Probably the only thing that really concerns me about Miami is Duke Johnson. Diaco is great at stopping big plays, and we're hard to run against anyway, so I'm most concerned about our discipline vs the return game.

Also, there seems to be something weird going on with their O-Line. People are being named "co-starters", obviously an impossible concept. The coaching staff must be a bit desperate for motivational gimmicks. And, of course, Seantrel Henderson is right in the middle of this.

I get the intuitive itch that if our defense just has its normal game, and we stop Johnson on kick returns, that Miami won't score much at all. That then just means that the offense has to help out with good game management, good ball security, and a step up in O-Line play to let the horses run. Miami will stack just like all coaches have, but they may not be as stout as the B1Gs we've just played.

Does he return punts also? As far as kickoffs I see us kicking out of the back of the endzone every time, weather permitting.

Yes he returns punts also.

OMM I was at the GT game the other week and thir Oline is a mess. I sat 3 rows up from the sideline right behind the bench and I have never seen anything like it and mind you I played oline in college. There was bitching and moaning and pointing fingers at each other and Kehoe looked to have no control of it. I agree and this if our D plays like it has been we stuff the run and frustrate Morris into making some silly mistakes.

Their defense is giving up an average of 40 points a game to FBS competition. They've given up at least 233 yards on the ground each of the last three weeks, and one of those teams was Bethune-Cookman. Boston College passed for 441 yards on these guys. If we can't move the ball on this team, there are some serious problems with our offense.

Against Kansas State, they were sacked 5 times and managed only 40 yards rushing on 29 carries. I expect us to dominate up front and create a lot of pressure.

They play as disciplined as any team in the country. They play solid, swarming defense. Tackle very well and they run the ball effectively.

And Collin Klein is one smooth operator and a really solid decision maker that can hurt opponents with his legs and arm. He is making a strong push for the Heisman with his play thus far.

I'm not 100% convinced this is so much a good Miami offense as it is an awful NC State defense.

Yup, regardless this is going to be the best offensive team we've seen all year in terms of skill position players and a vertical passing attack. Going to need to score at least 24+ to win this game... time for the OL and TE to step up.

Agree on all accounts. This is a game where we need to get Waldo the ball some more and give Everett time to read his progressions.

Miami scares me, if they could be consistently disciplined they are a very very dangerous foe.

Lets hope for cold weather next Sat. ;)

I refuse to be impressed with Miami due to this game. NCState [not a particularly good team itself] has turned the ball over and shot itself in the foot around 6 times this game by halftime. They also seem to be able to both run nearly at will and connect on occasional long plays. Maybe this new-found belief in Miami will be proven out in the second half, but I ain't seein' it yet.

There's seriously like 500 people in the stands.

Both teams look like they're playing a walkthrough.

I am a lot more confident after watching this 'effort; than I was.

How many times can NC States DBs get beat deep? Morris has like 5 throws for 400+ yards. Lol

Still a more difficult game than most of us thought before the year started (some reg Sadi they were the worst team on our schedule and no one really disagreed,... Myself included)... I have watched them three times now... Yeah they are not even close to that...

If we protect the ball and EG is a bit more accurate I like our chances... Also, I was at the Sun Bowl... Obviously weather could be a factor... But this will not be an easy win... Best passing offense we have faced thus far.

Need to get the running game going next week. Otherwise we'll have to light it up through the air (won't be too hard if we execute, their pass defense is terrible) and risk a shootout.
