So I saw he had 1 catch for 15 yards, but was targeted 4 times. Anyone watch the game? Were the other 3 even catchable or did he mess up and miss them? Guess what I'm asking is if ESPN is trying to make ND look bad again.

They were poorly thrown balls. His 15yd catch wasn't thrown well either, Mike just put a move on it. He played primarily on second team, which was hugely disappointing because we didn't get to see him and Fitzgerald on the same field.


The Cards need to consider picking up a QB.

Consider? Should be a priority. It doesn't help that Beanie is on the PUP list and teams have no need to honor the run game.

I just don't see him being an every down all season guy and didn't he do most of his damage with the third string qb in?

I like Skelton more than Kolb but still think they need to be looking for another qb. I also think the addition of Beanie with Howling playing a role similar to Sproles.

Maybe I couldn't find it, but I did find these about the catch.

Your buddies also must not pay attention to college football in general. I can't imagine a well versed college football fan not knowing one of the top recievers in the game over the last few years. Especially one that plays for a major program.

What's funny is actually for the most part they are relatively well-versed with all forms of football....it's just like they completely ignore anything related to ND. It's like we could win the National Championship and they would have no idea.

Too late Wooly, I already sold him my Arizona swamp land.

AZ has got to get him and Fitzgerald on the field at the same time to help with what they have at QB.
