So I found this site that asks you a series of questions to determine which candidate's policies you agree with most. It lists every real candidate. I suggest giving more detailed answers as opposed to just yes and no for a better result.

iSideWith.com

Let's keep politics on the other thread and just post your scores here.

My perfect candidate was Jill Stein, we agree 90% of the time.
Obama is an 84% match
Romney is an 8% match
I agree with the average American voter 62% of the time.

So let's see your scores. Also, please share if this matched or opposed your previous stance.

Well, I've got news. I will be starting a third major party. I am a right wing liberal, or a left wing conservative. We will be called: uh, well, I'll have to work on that.

Obama: 86%
Jill Stein: 77%
Romney: 69%
All Voters: 54%

I may have broken the survey.......

Who is Jill Stein and what is she doing in 2016? Her bio is funny in that she keeps running and losing but then running for a better office each time as if she had won. That she keeps coming out ahead in this poll but can't win an election where most people agree with her (for MA state offices) shows the problem with the two party system.

I'm with you, Rhode. I caught the better part of an interview she did last night on a local Public Television show here in the Twin Cities and was impressed. I found myself "hmmm-ing" to myself. It is sad that as a Green Party candidate she gets little exposure.

A little surprised, but not shocked, by my results....

89% Romney, 79% Ron Paul, 65% Obama. Always thought of myself as a Ron Paul guy with ambivalence to Obama/Romney. I agree with Ron Paul on economic issues and that was "most important" to me... and 2 of my top 3 categories I am decidedly pro-Paul. The other one, domestic policy, I'm pro-Gary Johnson... whoever that is.

I apparently agree with good 'ol Mitt on all of the categories of stuff that I couldn't really care less about (labeled "less" and below). I only agree with him on one category that I even "somewhat" care about.

I do NOT agree with 50% of Obama or anywhere close, sorry... lol... Seriously though, it said our best agreement was on Isreal... laughable... though we do agree on Cuba.

It seemed somewhat non partisan, though I did have a problem with the Evolution question... are we talking microevolution, which is a widely held scientific fact... or macro which is very much up for debate either way??? I assumed the second as that is usually what people mean when they say "Evolution" so....

**I find this to be pretty misleading of my actual stances. There are several levels of government: local, state, federal (and well, city, county, regional, state, federal, international), and I am more and more "left" the more local government gets. I simply recognize that the Federal government 1) is very bad at 90% of what it does and 2) doesn't have the real authority to do much of what it does.

every voter should have to take this before they go into the voting booth uninformed in regards to what each candidate stands for. Very cool website. I was a little shocked by how much I agreed with Romney, I thought it would be well below 50%, but it was 64%. Sided with President Obama 76%, nothing shocking there.

Kind of surprised their was such a discrepancy between Romney and Obama for me. I dislike them both pretty evenly. Every voter should take this before they go to the polls though. I am probably going to vote for Gary Johnson but am always formulating and modifying my views so we will see.

Living in Tennessee you can vote for whomever you want. It’s a pretty red state. I live in Florida, not to say my vote counts more than yours, but my vote counts more than yours. I think this election will come down to Florida and Ohio. If you live in one of those states, you should really pick between one of the two parties. Not that I’m in favor of the two party system, but it’s what we have at the moment. Please don’t take this as a slight. I rarely post on this site, and from what I’ve read over the years, most of you are far more intelligent than I. Just wanted to put in my two cents.

I agree, I don't really like the republicans but I fear the democrats so I vote against them more than anything,... It would be nice to just get rid of parties and vote for people but it is what it is
