You guys are still talking about the Jerseys? Honestly get over it. I will state my age. I am 25, I love the jerseys. ND has really never done anything to the helmets. So they changed them up? Cool, it's for one game. Gets people talking. So what? The reason I stated my age is because I know there are many people older than me but most of you are acting like children.

We have forsaken EVERYTHING about our tradition, pride, etc....

Just to be like these guys!

And it's just for ONE GAME!! (during a series, in which it has been known we'd use alternate uniforms)

Oh! The shame! OH THE EMBARASSMENT!

Yeah the Oregon uni's are always SWEET, and it is only for one game, yada, yada, yada . . .

We can talk about tradition, uniforms, who has sweet shiit, and what kids do or do not like.

But the truth is the real push behind the the uniform changes is not players, Brian Kelly, Jack Swarbrick, or Father Jenkins; It is marketeers that would sell the statue off the top of the dome, and install Lady Gaga if there were enough money in it.

Okay, ill agree the 60/40 helmets aren't great. But I'm not gonna get worked up over something as silly as an alternate uniform, it just doesn't matter that much to me.

Our traditions include academics, religion, and running an ethicial football program. We will never mess with those. Changing our uniforms for three hours should not upset people as much as turning Protestant or giving money to recruits, which actually would call for people to get angry at the world.

The biggest difference ND and Oregon have is that, Oregon really doesn't have a tradition to speak of. Which means they can pretty much do what they want. Sure, they have been good for the past 10-12 years but they were a deplorable football program for almost a century before hand.

Our academic standards, faith, and values DO NOT suffer from a uniform change for one game.
