lol at Eli Woodard being better than Alexander. Tracy Howard can play but I think both these guys are better its real close (he is running with the 1's at Miami already). Tracy gave a silent to Florida 2 weeks before singing day. The problem is he made a visit to Miami the next week and we see where he ended up.

I lurked this board last recruiting cycle and I remember people thinking Brian Poole would flip never got any indication of that from Florida's side. Btw he is running with the safeties right now because the CB talent is so deep he would not break the 2 deep.


It seems as though Jalen Ramsey is the guy Florida really wants to add in this class. Probably because he isnt all over the place like MA.

I think Fuller is good but overrated if he had a different last name and went to a different school no way he would be rated that high (rivals). Imagine throwing against Fuller and Diggs last year though.

Maurice Smith is going to do very well in Alabama's scheme
Shag Wiggins is not biggest or fastest kid but he can flat out cover.

This is such a deep class of DB's. I don't think I can remember a year where so many kids top rated kids that are being recruited as corner actually playing corner at the high school level.

I agree that Smith and Wiggins are both underrated.

Again it's just my opinion, but looking at the limited tape I have seen I liked Howard better.

BTW I disagree with you guys on Woodward. The kid has star written all over him in a cover two scheme. In man to man he is still good. But, he could also be a star at Safety.

Tom Lemming said Kinlaw was better than Woodward. I don't like lemming but i am putting that out there. Alexander IMO is slightly better than Hargraves, and after that it is Fuller and Ramsey. Cam Burrows is underrated on this site.

if so, i agree...hard to rate a kid higher that has very limited reps at a position over a dude that's played there as much as woodard has.

Exactly. I don't think the official visit would make much difference. He's not leaving the south. It was a long shot to start with, You can't say that he didn't give us a fair shake.

As some of the prominent posters have stated, LJ Moore has always been the best shot for a top CB in the class.

With that said, win and they will come. ND needs a winning, BCS bowl type season to get the really top guys interested. Guys like Alexander who don't have as much an incentive to leave the South.

Would Jaylon really want ND if he was from FLA or GA? Just throwing it out there.

Kinda was my point. Kids that are far away are going to need to see winning now and winning later for them to get away from home.

Yeah, but sitting in fourth on a Florida kid with a top three of Bama, FSU and Clemson is going to be a pretty tough pull. That said, he could probably start here a week from Saturday. So no reason to give up.

I agree with this. I think that ND is a top tier academic choice and a second tier football choice for many of these players.

I even think showing improvement over last season will help. Kids want to know the program is going in the right direction. I don't want to see what happens to this class and next year's class if we implode on the field this year...
